Lidless Eye
So, I know, not unpainted, but the new "Pathfinder: Fearsome Forces" set got announced with new format. Single boosters, medium or small monster, 18 types total, $6.99 each! I feel like these are going to linger on shelves like the last time they tried that, it feels outrageous for a single standard randomized mini. How is this the same company that tried to hop on the Bones copycat train? 2 1
haldir
For some reason, Wizkids can't put out a Pathfinder mini product that'll be successful these days, I have no idea why. They had the normal blind boosters (which sold well (I guess)), they've done the single mini pack before (We be goblins, undead). They've tried themed boosters & now they are going back to single blind boosters again. Who knows. I think allot of this falls on Paizo tbh. Great game company, but they have a crappy miniature department. I mean when you drop your pawn line due to lack of sales (ummmm 2020 there was a "little" thing that happened) & 2021 we were still in the throes of that "little" thing, you know something isn't right. I really like Paizo, but some of their decision making baffles the heck out of me sometimes. If I want any of these, I'll just look for them on the Bay of E as I hate blind booster purchasing. (& a quick look at these, I don't think I'll look very heard....)

It's wild to think the Reaper Pathfinder line has crawled to, uh, the chibis in Bones 6 in the last what, six years? And the WizKids line is at about the same pace. Then again, they also ignored all warnings about the first Starfinder minis line. 5

Which sucks as they were my favorite part of Pathfinder. WbG was my go to game to run at ReaperCon for many years. Heck I even got to off @buglips*the*goblin in a game!!! The first year we were at the old Best Buy building, I ran every WbG up to that point & every game was riot that year. I got to know @TaleSpinner's son, Myles that year so made it special as well. As far the Frameworks (or whatever the Pathfinder line is called) goblins. If they ever drop in price, I may take a chance on them. I've seen some nice miniatures come out of the line when painted up by artists who know how to place paint.

The PF2 "We Be Goblins" heroes were just...Goblins trying to be good. Considering the PF Frameworks Heroes are the 5th or 6th miniature incarnation of the Iconics, it would have been nice to see at least some of the Goblin Iconics repped. It's wild to think the D&D line has them beat for named character variety.

Pezler the Polychromatic
A few new announcements that will be released sometime in 2024: D&D Classics Collection Planescape Adult Time Dragon Green Dragon Trophy Plaque Red Dragon Wyrmling 50th Anniversary Edition, he stands at 2 and a half feet tall Critical Role Exandria Unlimited-Calamity Boxed Set Critical Role Shademother
Lidless Eye
I'm kind of shocked they didn't do a better job with tie-in minis for "Honor Among Thieves" and "Baldur's Gate 3", looking at the various Critical Role teams (though some of those seasons are years old at this point)

I do that with most of their sets these days. The Shademother is a interesting piece. I'd like to see that one come out as a Unpainted.
BlazingTornado
Man, that Critical Role set really shows one of my pet peeves with modern D&D and its complete lack of clear identity. You've got five people in assorted medieval fantasy clothing... and a guy in a 20th century suit. In what reality where button up pants with a zipper exist would you wear breeches and medieval trousers??? 2
