lowlylowlycook
Just watched the first bit of that. It's interesting that they preprimed them and that plastic cement works.
Crowley
An hour and a half? Too long, didn't watch.
lowlylowlycook
An hour and a half? Too long, didn't watch. Some of that is dead time before the stream started and the stream also covers some Shapeways stuff that I didn't watch so it isn't nearly that long. Darkmeer
Shoshanna's work is inspiring. She's local to me, well, an hour a way, but that's local to me. She does some great work and her figure painting is amazing. I'm curious about them, but, I'll likely avoid them for a while, unless something REALLY strikes me as awesome, or I'm asked to paint a figure for someone (highly unlikely). Dai-Mongar
If they're available domestically, I'll likely get a few to see what they're like. Probably the barbarians and maybe some undead.

Blackhawk
Interesting. I've painted a number of unpainted WizKids minis, as that is essentially what was released with the D&D Adventures board games (Castle Ravenloft et al.) They aren't bad. They're not as good as traditional sculpts, but they paint up OK. I'll still be going with Reaper and traditional companies for most of my stuff, but it will be nice to have an affordable, no-random option for the copyrighted D&D stuff.

DocPiske
Ugh, the mold lines are painted over with primer. Nothing that can't be fixed, but still.

So you mean they are saving me a step? Because I always find more mold lines after I prime.
