I am done with the stone terrain! Tudor will likely have to wait until my next set of more than one vacation day in a row.

Okay, the stone texture being done still means the roofs need to be painted, as well as the trap door covers, the moss on the battlements, etc. But these pieces are all something I would be okay using at the table.

Well, at least I thought I was done painting stone texture for this one, and look what I found when putting pieces away in their proper drawers:

I am tempted to depart from the suggested painting recipe and paint the top half the same as the rest of the dungeon tiles I just finished.

Dungeon tiles:

Base gray

Pick out random stones with Earth Stone

Drybrush using Olive Drybrush

Drybrush using Stone Edge Drybrush

Suggested method for top half of sewers:

Base gray

Pick out random stones with Cardboard

Drybrush with Stone Edge Drybrush

Any opinions on this?

Another half an hour before another errand. The last one cost me $400,so let's how this one is cheaper.

I chose to go with Earth Stone to match my other tiles. Seems like it makes more sense that way.

Another half hour (1.5 hours on sewers so far) and I am halfway with Step 2. I am debating drybrushing the top half with Olive Drybrush before hitting it with a drybrush of Stone Edge - like the dungeon pieces...but the sewers paint guide suggests skipping that step. Not really sure why.
