But George, those guys are already done, you are thinking....

And you would be right!

I painted these guys when I was in college, back in the early 90s, using the Polly S & Ral Partha AD&D Paint Lines...

And seem to have missed the fact that the guy with the 2 handed mace is wearing some sort of skull cap!

But now, I have 5 more! Thanks to another forumite that was going to use them as weight for the melt tables at R Con, he was kind enough to let me save them from the abyss...

So it will be fun to see what this group will look like, with all of the things I have learned from my fellow forumites in the last 9 months, and using Good brushes, a wet palette, Scale 75 paints, Reaper and Vallejo, and yes, Polly S AD&D 460 Goblin Flesh!

Come back and see when I get more than primer on them!

(They are also Goblin Flesh practice for the Infamy Goblin Chieftain on the Death Chicken....)

Somebody was going to throw those to the fires to be smelted away into newfangled figures?????? Blasphemy.........

Forgive them, for they know not what they do....

The ones who blasphemed are the ones that ordered the molds destroyed.....

Real life things took precedence tonight, but I did manage to get their skin started using Kalahari Orange.

Also put in their pupils with Decay Black.

The eyes are not perfect, but I don't think I am going to stress about them either....

I love the things I have learned here, such as painting eyes first! I am much more comfortable around eyes and faces compared to before I joined up here.

I did the clean up around the eyes with a W&N Series 7 size 0, and the rest of the flesh, to include the additional coats around the eyes and face, with a Raphael 8404 Size 1.

This time last year, eyes would have been done last, with a W&N size 10/0 brush, with much sweating and cursing....

So thanks for that!

Thanks for looking and commenting!
