Cool idea, but the overseas shipping likely kills the value for a mystery box. Is there something like this in the US?

I believe there's several. Though I can't recall their names. The whole concept never appealed to me.

Some RPG crates I'm aware of but no Mini specific ones..

Yeah, I'm aware of quite a few RPG ones and nerdy/comic/loot, etc ones. Never head of a mini/hobby only crate. I like the idea, but I think it's against KS rules and told them so.

So I looked it up and this project falls under several items on Kickstarters prohibited list:

-Contests, coupons, gambling, and raffles.

-Projects that share things that already exist, or repackage a previously-created product, without adding anything new or aiming to iterate on the idea in any way.

-Resale. All rewards must have been produced or designed by the project or one of its creators — no reselling things from elsewhere.

@Ub3r. Who did you report it to? I can't find a report project tab anywhere. Did you just report it to the projects creator?

Yeah I told the creator in their preview they showed to people to get feedback before it started a couple weeks ago.

The thing that concerns me is that their major miniature supplier at this point is Mantic. I think Mantic do great games, and are capable of making great minis, but I would not be wanting to receive random products of theirs in the mail as part of a subscription. Their quality is far too hit-and-miss, and they cover a lot of different genres. How many people here are going to want to get a bunch of random Dreadball figures, or "Mars Attacks" Martians?

War Games Supply. A friend got me two months of boxes. One month had an Infinity mini, some paint, seneic bases, mixing bottles, and somthings that escape me atm. The other month it was a goblin pirate mini, a Bones dumpster, and some other things that elude my memory atm.

Actually, I appreciate people bringing up that it's in violation of KS policy, otherwise I very well could have backed it. The idea appeals to me VERY VERY MUCH (though I would have changed my mind after seeing where it would be shipping from ).

Apologies but I must have missed it and am probably too lazy to investigate on it... where exactly would the shipping be from again?

I believe it's shipping from the UK.
