LittleBluberry
I haven't been on the forums much lately either, but I'm glad I happened to see this. I hope things improve and know we're all thinking of you. Nothing sucks like a never-ending parade of illness, I've been there. And I hope that your step-father can get some resolution on his pain quickly, seeing a loved one in pain is a heavy burden to carry. Cranky Dog
That certainly qualifies as tough times for you and your step-father. It's very hard to see someone you care about suffer and be so completely powerless to help. The stresses of house hunting and storm surviving are not helping. You have my well wishes for the whole family.

Inarah
Sorry to hear you're having difficulties. Sometimes life just sucks. Take care of yourself, so you can take care of those who need you. Having dealt with chronic pain off and on for years I can say that sometimes just having a loved one nearby, someone to hold your hand or talk to you is comfort enough. I also learned to accept the pain and stop fighting it, just acknowlege that it is there and I have other things to do. I don't know if many people understand that. I hope the doctors find some relief for your step-dad. And don't worry about tornadoes until they happen. :) HUGZ
Jasonator
Positive thoughts and prayers Siri. I am sure that with your caring heart you are carrying a heavy burden. Share the weight with those you love, and those that love you; all will be well. Feel yourself well loved by myself, and the members of this group. Kangaroorex
You have my thoughts and prayers. I understand about undiagnosable chronic pain. fortunately mine was controllable if not identifiable. My heart goes out to you and him. I hope the new doctor can at least find a solution to the pain, even if only for a while. I assume the house hunting is mandatory. I would not try to do that in a stressful situation. If you have to my recommendation is to bring someone along from work or a friend who can see the location without the "just get it over with" point of view. share or vent as much or as little as you like. there are many people here who will do our best to support you and help if we can.

dwarvenranger
I will be praying for you and your stepfather. I know all too well well what months of intense pain feels like. And as someone who just bought a house, is moving, planning my wedding and honeymoon in a few weeks I also know what it feels like to be under stress. You're not alone.
