Just picked this up on iOS, looking great! I love the "rapid scan" feature, makes it easy to add in my collection a drawer's worth at a time.

I would love to see a simpler method to select a manufacturer to look at the list from, however, the current rotating banner is a bit of a hassle. Maybe a drop-down option instead?

Did run into a bunch of "no such paint" in the Apple Barrell section, however:

20204 Wild Berry

20206 Light Orchid

20224 Carolina Blue

20509 English Lace

20514 Flesh

20538 Forest Green

20540 Red Spice

20549 Midnight Blue

20553 Boston Blue

20568 Sage Green

20765 Cinnamon Apple

20769 Periwinkle Blue

20775 True Teal

20779 Caramel Candy

20781 Dolphin Grey

20792 Plum

20845 Terracotta

I don't know if these are older colors that were discontinued, or what... they've been sitting in my rack for about 15 years now, only drag them out for terrain work, but still.

I was noticing the Scale 75 section appears to be missing a bunch, I'm assuming you need swatches, bar codes, etc for those @CourageousOctopus?

If anything is missing, simply email us photos of the front and barcodes of each bottle. In the case of Scale75, they use their own (crappy) barcodes, so it could just be that they're not scanning properly. You can always search by name with the magnifying glass at the top.

@CourageousOctopus I LOVE LOVE LOVE this app. I mention it to anyone trying to keep track of their paints. It's helped me avoid buying extras of things that I don't need. Or on the other hand lets me know what I need more of.

Just wanted to say thanks and I appreciate your dedication to making this such a great app.

ETA:

I have had this app for several phones now. I /just/ realized how the sets work today. Would have saved me so many notebooks.

Also, are there plans to add the Army Painter Forbidden Fortress paints?

To be honest, this is the first I'd heard they exist! Send me an email at jeff at courageousoctopus.com with photos of the front and barcodes of the bottles and I can easily add them next round.

There is an update rolling out now which includes these and the Reaper Brinewind paints.

I had a thought the other night, and I don't think I've shared it before, regarding OOP colors.

Would it be possible to change the reference dot to a reference square?  That would provide a visual break and wouldn't require another category or other such breakdown.  But might it be a problem on the programming side?

Perhaps a diagonal bar slash thru the Dot? (Playing off  international stop sign symbols ?)

OR

Just add square corners to the bottom of the dot. The resulting shape outline would resemble a tombstone. (For: “it’s dead Jim”.)

Would it be possible to add swipe functionality to the inventory screen? The screen that shows how many bottles of a color I have? I have to go back to the color list and then click on the next color to see if I have it, would be easier to just swipe from one color to the next.

This has been requested a number of times. It's technically doable, but it's a bit tricky because it is contextual - in a set you want to maintain the order, in a library it's linked to your filtering/sorting preferences which currently the paint view knows nothing about. TBH while it's on our request list we currently have bigger fish to fry, as they say. Hopefully the back button takes you right back to where you left off though without losing your spot.

We do want to add a statistics page sooner rather than later which should cover the second half ask. So if you have specific stats you want to see (instantaneous, not historical graphs as we don't track it over time), do let us know.

One thing that has been suggested is to track out of prints and have a flag people can turn off and on in settings (and probably some sort of visual representation). Scans would still work - maybe a modified manual search. It's on my radar.
