Fractured Dimensions Pazuzu OPDM08

Recommended Posts

His first appearance in D&D is in monster manual 2 (1st ed).

He is an actual mythological demon from babylonian lore (the king of wind demons).

His appearance here is reasonably close to his historical depiction.

Also he is pretty popular amongst the Pathfinder writers & staff as well.

Nice work!!

Nice Job on him!

I am so jealous of the folks at Finger Lakes paint day, Mortal Arrow was out there with them, and I had to work....

A god of summer, wind, and plague.

He's been around for a while....

The Auld Grump, Sculptor from life...

FTFY ::P:

Did he hold the pose long enough for you to sculpt him? :devil:

Ha! That's where I know him from. The Exorcist!

Wow. What a brain fart. I knew the name Pazuzu was from the Exorcist but I never put two and two together. Thanks! Also, thanks for the Monster Manual info. I'll have to check it out now.

Engraved upon my brain forever. Every year, we count down the two weeks to Halloween with a scary movie each night, always culminating in the king daddy on Halloween; The Exorcist.

And right there, at the beginning of the flick, every year on October 31st, there's Pazuzu with his enormous... uh... scepter. Yeah, that's a good word for it. Standing right out in the desert in the buff, for the whole world to see.

Never fails to elicit a chuckle.
