Moderator Popular Post TaleSpinner Posted April 13, 2016 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted April 13, 2016 I am sculpting a terror bird, and my client agreed to allow me to share it as a WIP. I'm about half done with it. I think the body looks a lot like a plucked chicken at this stage , but it is true to how they would have looked. I based it all on the skeleton of one at my local museum. This species was about 6 to 7 feet tall at the back. Have a great day, Andy
Pingo
Well, it would look like a plucked chicken. That's just common sense. Looking forward to seeing it feathered.

Pezler the Polychromatic
Ooooooo this interests me greatly. I've always been interested in paleontology, and diatrymas were fascinating.
Glitterwolf
Prehistoric animals fascinate me. I would love to taste paint a Terrorbird. ( In fact I bought the one Reaper sells already).

Moderator OneBoot Posted April 15, 2016 Moderator Share Posted April 15, 2016 Ooo, it looks so cool already! :D Will this be one that will go to be molded, or is it a stand-alone sculpt? Feel free not to answer if that's proprietary information. Huzzah! --OneBoot :D
Moderator TaleSpinner Posted April 15, 2016 Author Moderator Share Posted April 15, 2016 Molded, but for Commerce Rules, I can't give more details than that.

The answer to that is no; I will be completing this one and then sending it off for casting and production.

Casting and production was what I was referring to; my sleepy brain wasn't making as much sense as I would have liked.
