Glitterwolf
"Advancing" would be a better term for it. It would be difficult to make it look like it was running without having one foot raised, but that would make for a fairly weak mini. I'd expect "running" to involve the wings spreading out some, like an ostrich does while running. Good point. I avoided doing that so that they would be one-piece casts. I have the Reaper one ( Axebeak) and I believe it is a one-piece? He has some small wings spread out. On the other hand, running while spreading them out, wouldn't that actually slow them down? So using them as brakes makes more sense to me. Anyway. I like the minis a lot. And I might need a Murder of Terrorbirds ( WUT? Crows have a Murder, so these must have one too!!) The proper term is Massacre of Terror Birds.

Morihalda
Ahh, they look amazing! I cannot get over the scaly feet and the smooth lines.... We were at the museum last night and I was excited that I recognized the terror bird skeleton because of this thread! That giant beak! The plaque was really interesting. It talked about how fear was in the name and how it was basically like a giant goose. Yours are much more fierce!
