I may have to get me some, I used reaper's MSP brush on sealer.

as do I, with same effect (a bit of shine, not much, but enough to notice). I try to take pics with indirect lighting to reduce the shine effect. On a dark colored mini like this it can be challenging - try a slightly darker background so white-balance on the camera doesn't flip out. (Or try to edit exposure or white balance metering mode directly if your camera supports it.)

Great looking mini.

Beautiful wings!

I use Testor's "Dullcote" spray varnish as a final coat to take the gloss off my minis.

^^This^^ The wings are awesome! Dullcote is pretty magical stuff.

Thinning the Reaper brush on sealer a bit will help knock down a bit if the shine. It says matte but I've found it to be more of a satin finish. I like to use the reaper brush on because it will provide a harder finish, great if your minis are going to be handled for gaming. Then I go back over that after its dried for a day or two with the dullcote.
