Bones CAV in the shop?

Recommended Posts

I don't think they're going in the shop until all the Kickstarter stuff has been taken care of. And from what I understand, the shippjng container that has all the CAV KS replacement pieces hasn't even reached Reaper yet

Chris is correct.

We have to complete the replacement process before we can release to retail.

We are waiting for the green light to claim the restock shipment so we can get that rolling.

Once we are mostly through the replacement process we can begin to get a better time frame for retail release.

I'd just like to say that as much as I'd like to see plastic Cav's in stores, this is very upright what you guys are doing regarding retail and taking care of your kickstarter supporters.  Too many other kickstarter creators chase the $ train so hard that the KS supporters who made the product possible sometimes get their products and/or replacements long after folks can get them at retail.

Bravo!

I haven't been keeping up on CAV since the new version came out but was curious if the air units were being made in Bones and if so, were they true scale or the old smaller scale? Still have a decent amount of my old metal mini's from the good old CAV 2 (Soon) days but could use some of those old smaller air units if they're still around. Have another system in mind for them. Thanks!

This is likely because Reaper is a well established company, with resources and means beyond Kickstarter. They didn't blow all of their money producing the pieces, and need to sell more before they can fulfill what they promised. ::): That this is also the right way to treat one's customers is a happy bonus.

There were a few (2 or 3 IIRC) aircraft in the KS, they are the larger True-Scale size.

The older, smaller scale aircraft are (mostly) still available. Most are in the Robot Supply Depot section of the store, for some reason the smaller Badger is in the CAV: SO section as well and the small scale Ghast seems to have disappeared.

Cool, I'd prefer metal over plastic which is good but wanted to see if there was a cheaper plastic alternative. The small scale are better, still have some of mine but not many and need more for the new system I'm involved in. Thanks!

HRNNNG...must be responsible, city will fine me if I get Boney Stompy Robots instead of a new railing for the porch...

But, what if the railing was made of Bonesium Big Stompy Robots....

I'm here to help, really.
