I dropped down to the base $110 early bird... Will add or not during pledge manager.

Unicorn? well I would have rather had a band of drow, or a band of female vampires... But Unicorn is ok. I am really buying this more for the minis than the game, so Unicorn... why not.

Well there goes another $128. With all the other GG stuff I have, it seemed necessary to get the Z:BlackPlague crossover kit.

I finally found a friend pledging, so I can get this crossover in case I ever want to get the game at a later date (for less money) and cross them over.  I see nothing in the KS that makes me feel that I should pledge (not enough bonuses to make me excited).  I will just get it online for much cheaper later.  They tried to force me in with the crossover being only the KS, but I found my way around that stupid ploy.

Nobody forced you into the Kickstarter with the crossover.

You would not really need the crossover if you do not have this game. It is worthless without it. So if you interested in MD, the KS is perfect for you, even if you do not want the SG's.

You can sell the SG's you do not want easily on ebay for 5-10 bucks (not the stupid 30-100 some want on KS) and get the pledge money easily back.

And still have maybe SG's you liked.

No, the issue is that they make this upgrade/crossover pack ONLY AVAILABLE during the Kickstarter, so my only opportunity to get it during the campaign.  That is my issue.  There is no reason that this shouldn't be available at retail from CMON.  And, frankly, this is not perfect.  I can get the game (base with no SG) far cheaper later than right now since now of the SGs are that exciting, so I prefer to wait (plus not handing them money 6+ months ahead of getting it.  They created that exclusive to temp BP into the KS, but I can wait and save significant cash.

They actually made the crossover exclusive because it has BP cards for the exclusive heroes from MD.

Yeah, adding the MD exclusive characters to the crossover pack created a dilemma. If they made the crossover non-exclusive (which I wish they had) they would then have people coming to them later, complaining they couldn't get minis for the cards they bought. Otherwise, they'd need an extra level of complexity, with a retail crossover pack and a ks exclusive crossover pack for those who backed and purchased the pack during the ks.

I really don't see how a crossover pack would prompt someone who isn't interested in MD suddenly become interested though. It's just a little treat for backers of both games, nothing really new or exciting. And if history is any indicator, someone who really just wants the crossover will likely be able to pick it up on ebay, or can print off a copy online somewhere. I know I saw cards for all the BP minis long before ever receiving a physical copy.

The people who really get burned by the crossover are people who eventually buy the games at retail, maybe after playing the game at a friends or wherever, and deciding they like it. But they are getting a full game, it's not like it is missing anything.

Given the track record of GG, the cards will be either available later or at the very least downloadable. I'd bet KS exclusive just means this particular configuration of cards.

The combination of my enjoyment of GG sculpts, the crossover and the scad of freebie monsters hooked me. Since it's basically a hack-n-slash, the more monster variety the better.

I had to reroll my will save 4 times on the Hellephant, but I was able to stick to my basic pledge + BP crossover.

For me it's not even about playing, though I do like Zombicide and have played a couple times solo (I have a BP game setup currently for when I can carve out a few minutes). I just really love the sculpts and being cheap plastic I don't mind slopping paint on them :) Very therapeutic.

I was so tempted by that SS box, mostly for the Harley Bombshell...too much filler, though.

Knight Models has the potential to really guy my budget sometimes, if they still had the Star Wars license.... But for all my love of Marvel, I'm pretty picky. I've got the basic X-Men and Avengers boxes, DP, and I think that's it. Vision and Doom are on my list. I hope the range gets as big as it used to be, there were a lot of great models. I have a cool 40mm Wolverine in street clothes I'm hoping to paint some day!

I caved on the ratlings as well as the lightbringer and ZBP crossover.  If I remember correctly from the campaign the difference in prices for most at retail is $3-5, so I may pick some more up at retail.  Mostly got this one for the miniatures, though I will probably play through the story mode at least once.  With all the other KSs right now I don't see myself adding on to this, but you never know.
