Older NieceBoot is about 1.5 years old, and keeps saying "Hi [younger NieceBoot]!" in her tiny little voice.

 

I think I might just die of the cuteness.  ^_^  :wub:  :wub:  ^_^

Resolved milk issue for now. I told her she is allowed to not have milk in her cereal. She really dislikes milk heavily, but will fill the bowl all the way up when she wants cereal to stay really crunchy. I also told her she can ask us for help on the matter. So currently resolved. Glad it is is as we can't buy milk again until Jazz pays me. SHe says tomorrow but she also said it would be today.

 

ANyways. All is good for now though and this helps. Also showed the kids videos and discovered I can do Hulu

baby's pants get pockets for the same reasons ladies pants do not. If you can figure out what that reason actually is, do let the rest of the world know.

 

Women's pants don't have pockets so as not to distort the line of their shape (as far as I know). It also forces (for a given value of "forces") women to buy purses.

 

Children's pants have pockets because kids are naturally curious and like to collect things. Also, where else are they going to save that awesome dead bug stuck to their hard candy with which they plan to surprise Mom?

The number of times I have had to carry dead bugs home in my hands because of no pockets is not small.

:lol: I still can't adequately explain to MrBoot why women's pants have either decorative, non-functional pockets, or pockets so small I can only fit two fingers to the first knuckle in them. I am and have always been a great lover of pockets, and I've always found this fashion trend to be silly and frustrating. But then again, I've concluded that the more silly, inefficient and non-practical any given piece of clothing or accessory is, the more fashionable it is. There is a number of reasons why I am not a follower of fashion, and that is one.

 

I finally broke down a couple of years ago and bought a couple pairs of guy shorts for myself, just so I could have SOMETHING to wear around the house with decent pockets.  <_<
