77078: Astrid, Female Bard (Bones)

I finished up the last of a group of female adventurers I have been working on all in the same color scheme.

 

Here's Astrid, whom I previously painted as a drow.

Thanks!  Unfortunately, the stripe is part of the mold and is only on the front of her pants.

Stripes are pretty easy to paint in yourself, just food for thought for the next time.

Once again your color scheme looks absolutely amazing on this mini.  I really don't remember there being that much detail on her, though I did paint mine up a while ago.

Just out of personal preference, the drow version is my favourite between the two. But my only actual criticism would be that the back of the guitar draws my eye because it's such a large area of the same colour. I don't know what else could be done with it, as there wouldn't be any point to a design on the back of a guitar, but it was just what I noticed. Maybe it would just help for there to be a little more colour variation to that area.

And yes, I agree on the guitar.  I honestly just ran out of time before the miniature show I was taking her to.  I might go back and touch up the guitar later with some edge highlighting and a bit of shading to make it look a bit more real.

Huge kudos. I tried the Astrid in Bones and gave up, couldn't see the detail.
