Whoever posts them should make a point of creating a permanent link; this /is/ possible.

Has to be done specifically, though; default is that they expire.

...when I try it. I am shuttled off to the App Store to get the app.   Apps. I need more info. Is there a link that avoids the app? Just works with a server or something..?  Not a big fan of apps, and signups, and divulging this and that, and filling out all required fields...or letting something, somewhere add me to a list.

Unfortunately, if you are using a smartphone, the only way to use Discord is by downloading the app. However, if you are on a computer, you can use Discord in a regular web browser, without having to install anything. I can do a post showing how to do that, if you'd like, since screenshots make things easier.

Sorry to say, but it's either not working or I need permission. received a Invite Invalid message when I tried the link.

Hm, same thing happened for me. 

 

@Morihalda is the one who set up the server, so she's the one who can create a new invite link, I don't have that power.

I'm not sure why it keeps dying. I have it set to never expire and have unlimited uses. I made another one again though, just in case.

OneBoot, I added you as admin on the server (not sure why I didn't do that sooner!), but everyone still has invite privileges.

Edit---> it seems that the mike may be overly sensitive, as I am being blamed for feed back issues....

(I have since switched to an old boom mike, and the problem seems to have gone away....

Are the feed back issues happening when I am not on? curious to know,,,)

 

I was thinking of getting one of those 922 cameras. I've been recommended the 922 a few times.
