having an issue getting onto the reaper discord server....

 

there seems to be no way to get on and log in without claiming my account.

 

I already have a discord account, using my email, so what gives?

 

Anyone have any ideas for me?

Did you use a different email account, perhaps? I've run into that before. I've also run into issues where I signed up on my phone, but then tried to use the desktop version. I accidentally had two accounts for awhile, somehow, before I could figure out how to get rid of the extraneous one.

 

Did you try using the "Forgot my password" feature? That can sometimes help.

@OneBoot I had two -seemingly identical- discord accounts for awhile also. @Reaper_Jon zapped one of them after asking which one was me. And I replied, "wait, what? there is two of me??"  They had the same ICON/Avatar picture.  They were just numbered differently with four numerals following "Pendrake" Pendrake8nnn and Pendrake7nnn.    

 

Could it all have something to do with participating in two different Discord servers? (That was the case with me.)

 

@knarthex there was a signup procedure with the Reaper Discord server. You had to go to a thread, read stuff in the thread, click on an emoji symbol and increment it by one number, and if you did all that a bot was supposed to give your account basic access.

 

The day I tried it the bot was broken. @Planar_Crossroads  did some above and beyond troubleshooting to fix it.  Later, @Reaper_Jon added a Reaperite (?) designation that was missing.
