ANGEL CITY diorama by Glitterwolf Tribute to Lemmy

I finished my Diorama I made as a tribute to Lemmy from Motörhead.

 

I've put in many references to Lemmy and Motörhead I'm curious if you can get them all.

I know some people like Motörhead too and there a few Metalheads around here.

 

So I've put my references in this spoiler.

See if you can get them all.

 

 

 

Title of the piece - Angel City. Both a song ( album 1916)
and the nickname for LA where Lemmy lived for the last decades.

Posters:
Left - A poster from Lemmy.
Then a Jack Daniels Poster - his favorite drink
Right from the dumpster a Movie poster for Metropolis.
Metropolis was a song on the Overkill album
Then a torn up poster from the Rainbow Bar and Grill, his hangout place.

Graffiti.
There are two smal "Ace of Spades" on the cassette.
The head of the cat stands for Headcat, a Rock andRoll band Lemmy was in on the side.

Blood - stand for "Shake Your Blood"from the Probot album with David Grohl.
Left side of the Dumpster - The World is Yours an Album Title
Front side of the Dumpster. Bad Religion a song from the Bastards Album
On the lid a Wolf...The Wolf a song from Rock and Roll album.
Right side. 1916 titlesong of that album
A Triskele the symbol was introduced during the Hammered album
Loser. a Song from the Iron Fist album

The Diorama itself has a small bottle of Jack Daniels on the ground.

On the Motorcycle I painted the Warpig.

 

The Biker is Under the Gun , a song from Kiss of Death album.

Subtle.. the Pimps and Hookers stand for :Love for Sale a song from Snakebite Love

Did you get them all?

 

 

The main scene is a dirty backstreet alley, here a pimp and his girls clash with a biker and his chick... turf war? Drugs deal gone bad? "My girls walk this part of town"??

Who can say...in minutes the violence will erupt.

That is a very in depth, really cool diorama. Have you considered black/brown lining your minis? It will really bring your skill to the next level. It will also make your subjects pop on camera and prevent the blurring of colors we sometimes see. The line will give your eyes a defined area to look at and help the brain process the subject more completely.

 

Other than that, thumbs up on the tribute diorama, or should I say triburama.

That's a crazy amount of awesome detail work my friend!  I like how detailed you got even with the trash!  I know you put a lot of time in on this one and it really shows, great work!

This was something I had to do, it's silly maybe, but it's kind of an emotional thingie..

 

Other than that, it was really fun to make too and I learned a lot from this and the advice that was given during the WIP.
