Hello everybody, first time posting here. Normally I only paint one or two minis a year for my pen and paper games, but since my skills would never improve that way I decided to embark on a quest to paint my entire stack of minis that accumulated over the years.
The mini below is going to be one of my characters. I was looking for a female half-orc with a more roguish and sassy appearance than usual, since she will be raised in civilization. I found myself out of luck; most half-orc minis seem to look stereotypically brutish. So I gave this hobgoblin archer a half-orc makeover. Since I had two of them I painted both, going to use the one with the purple colour scheme.
Some pretty good deals in the early bird specials:
Offering 30mm, 70mm, Busts and 1/10 () Scale figures. Something for everyone!
I got the early bird 4 bust deal. FWIW I have some of their earlier figures and they've been very good quality.
What is evil, yet cute? a KICKSTARTER that's what.
Since SoC's delivery is in full throttle, it's time to announce the SIBLINGS OF CHAOS. Coming from the dark places of the galaxy, and serving Gods of terrible designs, they march for the total ruination of everything! from the same team that brought us Siblings of Conflict, Impact! Miniatures and Marchen return with more goodies for us (after delivery of the Siblings is complete
I wanted to create something to enter in the Paint It Pink competition this year, but I only had about a day and a half before ReaperCon. I knew that this wasn't going to win any awards, but it was important to me that I do something. I saw these goblins with their oversized flag and just went for it. The base is one of Secret Weapon's doric columns.
This is the resin bust for the upcoming hair and makeup class at ReaperCon. It's a bit under two inches tall. Standard MSP paints for the hair and flowers. The skin tones are the new Bones paints - Ruddy to Pale Flesh.
Cross posted to the ReaperCon forum.
