Where is everyone staying?

Actually we might just stay with a friend. He's about 28 mins from the convention site, and while that is a bit of a drive, we also would save the money from using a hotel (and thus have more spending cash at the convention itself)

It's a real bummer about the Con not being held at the hotel. It was super nice to just be able to go upstairs any time you wanted to take a break or unload stuff.

I'm surprised the block filled up as quickly as it did. Thou it may have only been a few rooms, since the HGI is a big hotel.

 

Yeah, there are still rooms available there, just not at the special rate.  Though who knows what else is going on there that weekend.  They hold a lot of conferences, reunions, and such. 

 

We're likely going to be at the Fairfield, unless y'all fill that up too.

I'm sad that the con goers are going to be split at the end of the day. It was incredibly fun bouncing around from group to group and interacting with everyone.

This will definitely be missed but as the move to the larger venue means the con is growing and they now have more room to add/expand events, I cannot complain.

 

As to where I am staying, I got a room at HGI and am rooming with Leopardpixie.

yea. we'll be staying late each night probably, but we will be driving farther away than everyone else too on the downside

I haven't booked a room yet. Not worried tho, I'll get in somewhere or get a roommate who has already booked

 

Doesn't look like we'll be able to do any late night games again in the hotel as they had all those tables set up before. Happy that it is growing tho.
