Well, I stand corrected. 

I have to apologize, I read what I said and it came off rather harsh. I didn't mean it to come off as anything but informative and sometimes that gets lost in text. I truly hope you attend again and can get a room where you want.

If you'll have a car, there is a Best Western which is further away, but still within 5 minutes of Lewisville and the convention site.

 

If not, there are a few other options right by the Hilton Garden Inn and the Fairfield Inn including Spring Hill Suites, Hampton Inn, and Courtyard by Marriott.

The only thing that was filled on the Marriot site was Sunday but I think that is the site using the Reaper rate for that day (which is NOT included). I'd hope they open more then a few rooms. This is starting to have the feel of the year the Con was split up (first year of using HGI but at a alternate hotel (the one in Denton). Which for me was crappy......

We are having a new block of rooms opened up to be included in the rate, Additional rooms have been added. I am told that you must use the link provided on ReaperCon.com (also here) and that there may be difficulties when calling the 800 number and trying to access the rate.

 

To Book by phone, call the hotel directly (mention ReaperCon 2016):

You're not missing anything. I missed it.

 

The quick explanation is that in order to get the data up quickly I copy pasted the information from 2015's website and then changed the details where necessary. Then I clearly missed that one sentence about April 15 and uploaded the page with both the old date and the new date. A revised page with the 2015-reserve-by-date has been posted.
