About this project

A 32mm scale miniatures range and skirmish game of mechs, mercenaries and money in the desert wastelands of the near future...

Armoured Syndicate is a miniatures range, a compelling sci-fi story and a tabletop skirmish game developed over three years of hard work and creativity. Featuring a range of high-quality super-detailed 32mm scale resin miniatures and scenery the game is set in the deserts of the western and southern US around 100 years in the future.

Featuring top-quality resin miniatures and game-play written by Mark Latham, designer of 'Legends of the old west', 'The Walking Dead' and other massive games as well as editor of the Marvel Universe Miniatures Game, Sedition Wars and many others.

By backing this campaign you can get the full range of exciting miniatures, access to the beta rules for the game (and a chance to help develop them) and a range of brand new resin scenery elements to build your game around.

You can pledge to receive a few miniatures, one full faction of characters or both factions and all the scenery to make a full self-contained game. We are also offering EVERY item in the campaign as an add-on meaning you can pledge at the £1 level and then simply buy the EXACT models/scenic items you want!

If this campaign is successful then we will be launching a beautiful hard-copy rule-book with masses of background art, back-story for the characters and at least one complete new faction for the game around the end of this year. Backers of this first campaign will automatically get access to a massively discounted version of the hard-copy rule-book!

Our proposed timeline will see this campaign begin fulfillment within 2-3 months and then the full glossy rule-book and complete boxed game launched in a second campaign at the end of this year. We then have plans for 2 further factions and numerous new models to further expand the game and the miniatures range...

We will also be releasing the rules in German from the outset:

Die Regeln werden sowohl in Deutscher als auch Englischer Fassung für alle Sets angeboten.

Evil Dead 2: The Official Board Game is a tile and miniature based survival horror game for 2-6 Players based on the classic movie.
The officially licensed Evil Dead 2 Board Game is the tabletop experience Evil Dead 2 fans have been dying for--featuring at least 8 custom figures with art depicting the terrifying and iconic characters, monsters, and locales from the cult classic film. 2-6 players will work together in 60–90 minute sessions to gather pages of the Ex-Mortis while trying to survive demon attacks, supernatural events, and avoid turning into evil deadites themselves.

A certain platypus managed to snag a Maiden Bust on my behalf.
I love the sculpt. The casting is... meh. Sorry Reaper, metal is working better for you than resin. The resin had funky tiny chunks on parts, edge of the hand and rose are odd, and lips are a little rough on the edges. Mostly rough edges. I cleaned what I could, and am using gloss varnish on other odd bits to smooth them, but I can't get it all.
But in the slightly funky surface, I saw an opportunity. What if she wasn't quite a maiden? What if she was kinda... dead? Not all the way dead. Just becoming dead or undead, as if from a curse. And the rose is the only thing holding the curse at bay.
So maybe Cyr is crazy. Maybe Cyr is going to paint something awesome.
So far she has gray primer, dabs of gloss varnish, eyes, maiden flesh on one side, dusky flesh on the other, and a base coated rose.
Her live area will be blonde. Her dead side will have "white" hair, and a blackish rose.
The dusky skin and the vallejo nocturna white flesh are amazingly similar in tone, but very different in feel. Right now the difference is subtle, but as I shade it, the live side will get more rosy and warm, while the dead side will become more gaunt and sullen, like a starving vampire.
      At least... that's the plan.
Think I can pull it off?
