This would be a decent proxy model for a Forgeworld® Dread Saurian ...wondering how they compare in cost.

Since I did not know what a Dread Saurian was I looked it up, around or over $200 for the Forgeworld mini.  Making a approximately $61 Behemoth a great price.

I want one but wouldn't know what to do with it.

Well most often people are going to display their Behemoths when not using them in a game, but I guess you could take it off the base and carry it around on your arm petting it and tell everybody it is your new pet from Japan.  ::P:

It would work just fine. It also works as a proxy for a carnosaur. It even has a spot to put your lizardman general on the head.

I am in a similar boat.

I wonder, though, if it wouldn't work as some sort of incredible "prey" for AvP (presuming the rest of my pledge ever arrives)...

Same here -- $80 CAD isn't a trivial amount of money for me.

What I think DC should do is look at popular boardgame lines that use standees (eg. Eldritch Horror, Dead of Winter) and make prepainted miniatures for these games.

Meeple Source is pretty much doing this for various Eurogames.

In 3.5e, the Tarrasque was the Iconic campaign-ender against which optimizers measured their end-game prowess. I've used it several times (and would've loved to have had a 'mini' for it).

In 4e, this changed to Orcus (which they eventually made a 'mini' for).

I'm not sure what the new popular 'standard' is for 5e, but the Tarrasque is still pretty iconic. I've never once had an occasion to use my Epic sized dragon mini (Ancient Wyrms are just too powerful, intelligent and complex)... but the Tarrasque has always been the go-to epic punching bag.

I do believe this will get funded this time.  Maybe we can even get a stretch goal or two.  We just have to keep spreading the word, even in places where we already posted, to keep it in sight for people who have missed seeing this thus far and can still be reached.
