I think he looks great.

Hmm, maybe it's that interior of the cloak being too close to his hair color?

You complain too much.  He looks great.  I particularly like the gradient of colors on the back of the cloak -- makes it feel much more like a real animal pelt than a single solid color would.

His cloak is wonderful! I actually think he looks great! Most times we are our own worst critics.

The cloak is beautiful.

His general color scheme might be just a little flat. The shadows and contrasts are excellent, but the basic colors of his tunic, the cloak interior, his coloration and the weaponry all fall within a fairly narrow range of hue, value, and chroma.

But really he is silvery and subtle and beautifully painted.

(Just as a humorous observation, this figure is blatantly a riff on the classic old Marvel Comics Thor from the 1960s and 70s. You can see the echo of Jack Kirby's costume design in his outfit, and his name appears to be a portmanteau of forensic medicine historian Jürgen Thorwald and Norwegian ethnographer Thor Heyerdahl.)

That fur is marvelous! From the front, the colors aren't as striking as those you used on your other minis.

I'll gladly take him off your hands though, all your minis are amazing. Still waiting for you to make a "how to paint" YouTube. Whatever you're doing, I wanna do that.

You complaign too much! Lol ::): the figure is perfect.

If anything could be improved, it would be the base. The snow is too white and uniform for the awesomely painted mini.ad some variaton in the snow (both level and color) maybe add a tuft of weeds/grass sticking through and you may be hapier about it

He looks great.  If I had to criticize something I'd say he has too much of the grey-green going on and needs a touch of red of blue as a focal point somewhere.

My first figure 2021. I started painting about 2 years and took a year+ off from it. I decided to get back into and got some new paints and brushes for Xmas. Still working on my technique and would like to hear your opinion.

I wanted Conan.  and this looked pretty much exactly like him.  I painted him up a month or two ago, and since I already posted my wizard today I decided to post Dantrag (Conan) today as well.  Again, any tips or advice on painting or photographing will be gratefully accepted.

Hi all.  Another entry in my winter-themed minis.  This guy was intended to serve as the BBEG in my Frostrun campaign.  Kriger was the descendant of a greedy half-giant king who's line had been cursed to undeath.  Kriger sought to lead an army of Draugr and vikings to reclaim his family throne.  This "chaos warrior" model from Bones 4 was perfect.

      More Below the Spoiler:

I really like how this guy turned out.  He was one of those minis where I really pushed myself and tried some different things.  I think it shows.  Hopefully I'll get to continue his story, and return to my Frostrun game.  Maybe by then I'll have found some suitable viking-esque warriors to accompany him.

      Hello again Reaper Message Boardonians!

So here's another piece of old school goodness, a Ral Partha Charging Barbarian, sculpted by Julie Guthrie way back in the delightful eighties.  This one was originally in one of the Partha Boxed sets, 98-015 Bezerkers, and now is sold individually at Iron Wind Metals.

Pretty quick to paint as he was unencumbered by too much armor, clothing or general stuff.  My biggest challenge with this fellow was to figure out his hair color.  Blonde eventually won the day.

      Anyhoos, please enjoy!
