Warage - by District Games

Recommended Posts

There is only one thing to say: up to 1,040 cards to unlock, all shipped in one box. A complete, non-collectible, card game.

Style: deck construction with Role Play. You are a Hero, that can be equipped to increase its characteristics and...fight to win.

It is funded already - on the way to unlock the Stretch Goals.

You've hit the mid campaign slump that almost all projects see, especially those with good pre-campaign publicity

most of the people who know about you (and back projects early on) have already jumped in and grabbed a pledge, so you're limited to new people finding out about the project (hopefully your backers will be pimping the project to their friends and on social media) so the number of new backers per day will limited

and the 4th of July weekend is probably going to mean lots of Americans doing family stuff not searching for KS projects to back

so while adding more stuff will make people happy I'm not sure it's going to get you a huge backer boost at this point

what might be more helpful is seeing if you can boost your social media exposure..... perhaps unlock a stretch goal once you've got a certain number of share on facebook/retweets on twitter perhaps as part of a share this post win a copy of the game thing. This gives your backers an incentive to share and help out (unlocking a stretch) and everybody else a reason to keep sharing (the prize). Maybe 500 shares? something like that

(incentivise your backers to help you out

I wonder...do you think that the campaign could go better if some SG were already unlocked?

I would recommend asking backers to post reviews on BoardGameGeek of the previous edition of the game. I'm seeing reviews on your KS page, but not on BGG. You can contact BGG users directly, so drop a line to anyone who's posted something about the game and ask if they could post a review of the current Warage game and Warage game being KickStarted in return for, say, a copy of the KickStarted Warage game. I'm not seeing reviews on the Warage BGG page, but I *am* seeing threads that say the game doesn't "stand out". New reviews on BGG get posted to the front page, where you want your game to be seen. Also, you can run a contest on BGG.

Looks like Printable Scenery will be doing another KS.

I barely received my last campaign pledge from Midlam that already it has something that caught my interest.
Sisters of the Kraken Cult. The female counterparts of the previous "Onslaught of the Cult of the Kraken Lord" and "Cultists of the Kraken Lord". (I now have some regret of not getting it)

What's also interesting is the optional add-on of fish folk.

Brinewind is going to have some interesting neighbors.

I'm happy to see they've launched a 2nd KS, as I missed out on the first one.
Here's the blurb from the Kickstarter, which is live and already funded here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/292543184/wallhalla-2/description
Hey, everyone! We're Ill Gotten Games, and we're back for another round of Wallhalla, the modular, 3d printable miniature display shelves!
We're kicking this new series off with a Dangerous Dungeon theme that comes in two available styles:

Classic: (left) the original format found in Series 1, optimized for miniature display. Classic shelf units also include versions with recesses for standard round bases (20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 70mm).
Wall Sprawl: a new, terrain-style take that lets you build vertical dungeons and play on your wall space! (It works great as a display as well, especially if you want even more of a diorama look.)
Both of these sets are 100% compatible with one another and with any of the sets from Series 1. This campaign is for digital STL files, not finished, physical products, and you'll need access to a 3d printer to make them. All of our Wallhalla designs:
print 100% support free and are optimized for FDM machines!
assemble with durable, built-in slide-fit connectors, and don't require glue!
can be configured (and reconfigured) into whatever build suits your fancy!
      are easy to paint!

A new Kickstarter that may otherwise go under your radar.

      Very entertaining 70’s/80’s nostalgia aesthetics.
