May take a break from painting these guys.  I've got lots of other figures waiting, or I might start another CAV faction.....

Love them!! I really need to work on mine :( hah

They're looking awesome, well done on them!

Love your squad!  Do you know how these compare in scale with the Ironwind Metals Battletech minis?

Just from what I've seen in a local store, those battletech minis are much longer and spindlier - at least what they had in stock were. I'm not sure of scale of course, but the reaper CAV are much squatter and more compact.

If that helps lol

Oh darn.  I guess that just means I have to get some to compare to the ones I have.  That's just going to hurt my feelings so so much.

Edit:  The link between fingers and brain apparently aren't completed yet this morning.

Sorry, you'll have to go shopping (the horror! ::D: ) I don't have any of those battletech figs.  I do have some of Palladium's Robotech figs; if you have those I can do a size comparison shot  ::):

Nah the only ones I have are the Battletech minis that came with the beginners box and a Battlemaster that I painted horribly.  I've been seeing the Bones CAV show offs and thought they looked pretty amazing so I've been thinking about snagging a few of them when they get released.

Hi all.  I may have finished this guy in record time.  I am trying this new thing where when I want to stop and get up from my desk... I don't .  This is a bugbear that I just primed with a couple others even though I didn't really have any strong feelings about him.  But as I started working on him I started to get more excited, which is something that's been happening to me more now.  I just start a mini to get more stuff painted and end up liking the job.  I have started to put more effort into highlighting because I got a nudge here on the forums and I am so glad I did.  I really like the work I did on his armour, bringing the scales up to a brighter orange and ticking the edges with silver to make it look like the orange was paint wearing off.  In person he really glitters with that silver, something that didn't quite come across in the picture.  I like the highlighting I did with his skin and loincloth and also the silver rivets on the arm and shin guards.  I hope you all like him too!

Here's the bones Cave Troll!  I painted some of the pustules red with white-heads on them...very gross and troll-ey.  :)

Here is the Tiefling Sorcerer I just started working on for my next D&D campaign. My lovely wife is a writer and helped me with the backstory. Take a gander at the backstory and let me know what you think if you'd like... Otherwise, just take a look at the figure and follow along.  I've been going back and forth with whether or not I should cut his horns off to fit the backstory or not.

Ok, forum family, as the title says, I really wanna paint an Aasimar, but atm I can't buy any more mini (wanna paint what I have before!) and so I decided to make my own one.
      So I took this:

      and this:

      to make this one:

I know the picture sux, but I'm pretty happy of how she came out... now time to choose the palette.. mumble mumble
Any advice, is welcome, help poor Cicciopiu to make it real! :D :D
