Looks great!

Do you plan to differentiate the runners somehow? I find that our group tends to lose them among the masses at times. I have been tempted to paint them for first for that reason.

Yeah, I've been wondering about that myself. 1st couple were same color as walkers, answer is see what you mean when I look at the group shot. The model differences aren't that much different to stand out. I guess I'll break out my bones zombies to experiment on.

You're going to have one of the nicest painted sets around!

Thanks, these are speed paints for me. Considering I managed to finish the painting in a couple of days.

Nice, I love your paint jobs, you nail contrast nicely.

I have a couple survivors for Black Plague in deck when I finish the mage...

Are you planning on sharing on the forums?  I've seen a few of your others you posted.  They were great.

kathud !

Oh My !!!

Amazing !!!!

Heh, thanks.  Though I imagine even a smallish hoard like that coming at you.. the word amazing probably wouldn't come to mind. :;):

Dear Silvervane;

The quality of painting you have exhibited with those purples are exquisite.

I love how you have created an in depth color with a magnificent highlight !

The use of the toothbrush to "splatter" the figure is so well done.. just the right amount !

You are really increasing your skills, I salute you.. I'm trying for the same things.

I saw someone painted the runners with bases that had the yellow dashed lines from the middle of the street. I honestly have been stalling painting mine up because I am struggling with what I want to do. If you figure it out, please share :)

Your stuff pushed me to pick up the Season 2 game at Barnes and Noble (half off was a deal I couldn't pass up).

I went for a fairly monochrome look for his throne and added a few Citadel skulls to the base to fill some gaps.

One of Bob Ridolfi's sweet little undead monsters from earlier this summer.  I tried some grey skin tones to give her a "definitely not human" look, with the contrasting pale yellow funeral dress.  It's all right, and there's nothing you need to be concerned about here....

Another Ebay find! The base is foamboard, sand, and Vallejo Mud & Grass paint with some Citadel Stirland Battlemire. The model was a ton of fun to paint.

Worked this one for a good, long while.  I am really happy with the cape and takign the time to layer it carefully.  I tried to use the method of using dark colors on the exterior areas and use brighter colors where to draw the eye.  I also am super happy with the edge highlighting and small details in this one.  It took me a while to do the layers, but the outcome was well worth it.

I'm leaving the process below in photos on progress.

Let me know if you have any feedback or areas I could improve.

One of my favorite Fantasy races are the Undead, followed by Chaos and Reptilians.
I already have my Lost World Project which tells a tale of Conquistadores, Reptilians, Dinosaurs, and a lot more. And has some Undead in Jungle and or Pirate style in it.
My Shifting Sands project is all about Undead, Arabian and Egyptian style Undead.

This thread will be filled with my beloved Gothic Undead, Demons, Monsters and all things that go bump in the night.
In my Lost World Project I tell an ongoing story, here I will post about all other dark things without coherency.
There might be snippets of loose stories to accompany a mini or not...

I hope you guys and gals and creatures will like it.

Let's kick off with the critters I painted a while ago to get a feel of what is coming.

      Enjoy! ( or not)

Bats and a Murder of Crows

EDIT: I will include some Bones and minis. The bulk will be metal and I want to give the project an oldschool vibe/.
Preferred minis will be, Reaper, Grenadier, Ral Partha, Rafm, Metal Magic, Otherworld and Early Citadel.
The Asian Undead will be from Zenith since I backed the Kensei Undead Samurai KS and will get their own thread.  ( Nippon, Land of the Rising Moon) and the Egyptian ones are in Shifting Sands Project)

EDIT: Since the 3D printing bug bit me, the bulk will probably become 3d printed now.

EDIT - Asked to merge my Undead Threads into one.
      Now CHILDREN of the NIGHT.

This is for all the Ghotic Undead and their friends like Werewolves/Witches/Demons etc etc..
