Glacia the Winter Witch - An ub3r WIP

Recommended Posts

Ub3r, good start!

The face tattoos will be epic.

The base looks much better like this.

Depending on how she looks when based, you could add something like a little piece of cloth or rope to the base.

But if she takes up a lot of space it will be great as is.

Another thought, maybe when finished.. a small drop of water effects/still water?

it is a ships deck, a little puddle of water might insinuate the storms they endured.

Again, only if there is room for that..

Base definitely looks better, and I always love when a mini and a game come together, makes it that much more meaningful.  The real question though is:  "Does Ub3r get to play in the game too?"

Nope. It's Thrym's game. He lives East Coast, I live West Coast. I'd love to play in a game he ran some day tho!

I have a Roll20.net DM account... but not a lot of time to do another campaign with the two I am currently running ... the pirate D&D campaign and a Battletech campaign.  Oh and a Firefly RPG campaign on indefinite hold because the players have lives.  Ugh.

Pshaw, sounds like somebody needs to work on his priorities.  (says the guy who really wants to run another campaign but doesn't have the time)

Thanks guys!

I've got the hair to go next. Here's where I'm at, please let me know if I'm not seeing something that needs to be done. She has a lot of fiddley bits and it's hard to keep track of everything. Going for tabletop + on her for Thrym so I want her to look really good.

I would cut back on the size of the eyes buy touching up the cheek bones a tad...

(yes, I looked at Thrym's pic, but they need to be more almond shaped instead of round IMHO...)

are you noticing how nice and soft the staff is?

I am trying not to breath on it too hard, I am really afraid to break it...

So I've added color to her hair. Solid black followed by some SC75 White Alchemy to give it some shine and then added blue OSL to hair and robe. I also darkened the blue of the staff.

The staff was pretty bendy until I got it glued onto the figure. Now it's not so bad with it supported at wrist and robe.

I just wanted the eyes to share more focus they are tiny as you know and she doesn't really have much cheekbone with that mask in place. I'm afraid of messing up what I have if I try to go back and add more flesh color to cheeks and would rather err on the side of fantasy and drama on her than realism and cheeks ::D:

Am I missing anything? Is she done enough to attach to base and seal up?
