Bane Of Humanity

Seoni, Turned to the dark side

Recommended Posts

So I decided to play with my new toy today and did some conversions.  (got a new Mirco Dremel...good by hand cramps lol)  Did a couple weapon swaps.  Then decided to tackle an idea Ive had for awhile now.  Since reaper doesn't want to make tieflings guess I have to do it myself :P

The horns are from Sinessa.  The hand is actually from the metal version of this same miniature.  I bought it a long time ago with the intention to do this conversion.  But I have since realized its easier to mod bones.

I have not done any green stuff.

I am debating on whether I want to add a tail.  I doubt I will....but who knows...

Comparison shots Between Bones mod that I did and the original metal version

Excellent conversion, I always admire those people who are willing to hack at their models, I am much too cowardly to do so . . . someday perhaps though.  :)

Well, Bones at least makes it far more economical lol.  If there was only metal.  I would be in the same boat with you lol

This seems to be the lore:

Tiefling skin ranges through common human shades right into the reds, ranging from brick red to a ruddy tan. Tiefling hair, which starts behind their horns, ranges from dark blue to purple to red in addition to more normal human colors.

But I would paint it anyway you like, it is Your Tiefling after all.

So the skin I based in Dark red.  Followed by a 50/50 mix of blood red and dark red.  Then pure Blood red.  The a mixture of blood red and fire red.  Then I glazed over it with citadels Bloodletter glaze.  Which is a orange color.    For the eyes I used Marigold yellow and sun yellow.  Then Glazed them with more Bloodletter.  I also shaded her skin with Carroburg Crimson shade from Citadel.  (all paints are reaper paint unless otherwise noted.)

Next Update:  For the cloth.  I use Jade green with Athonian Camoshade from citadel and Waywatcher green glaze from citadel.  I really wanted to keep it bright to contrast better with the darker skin.  Some might wonder why green?  Well  The character is a warlock.  Her warlock pact is the great old one.  (Cthulhu)  I was going to try to do paint the star on that front plate.  However that has proven more difficult than I thought it would be.  I don't know if I should paint it gold or not.  There is a lot of gold already.  The other dilemma is hair and horns.  I could go blonde hair and black horns or black hair and bone horns.  I don't really want to do black on black but I am considering it.  I thought about matching the skin color to the horns as well.  I just think there is enough red though....  decisions decisions
