Just too awesome! Love the base, it's like the hand is reaching out of some kind of magic rent in the earth or maybe coming out of some kind of evil primordial ooze.

That base is too perfect!  Aziz is great too, but a slime-covered skellie rising from the dark depths to claw at his would be master's robes is hard to beat.

He looks really cool, great job on him!

I also used Chaoswolf's tutorial on making stringy blood to make dripping goo off the zombie guy's hand. Pretty pleased with how it turned out!

I'm glad you found it useful! ^_^

That is a WONDERFULLY WICKED piece. The brushwork AND ESPECIALLY the base are OUTSTANDING. WONDERFULLY WELL DONE!

Hello again.  Here's another older paintjob of mine.  This is the wyvern from the Bones 4 Core set.

My players encountered a flock of Wyverns while traversing a desert valley.  They were mounted on Giant Lizards and were chased by the wyverns.  What ensued was an Indiana Jones-esque chase complete with daring leaps from mount to mount.  All-in-all a good time.

As such, I decided to paint this guy up to fit into an arid desert landscape.  Had a lot of fun blending the sculpted base into the rest of the base.  Also was really proud of the coloration I settled on for the Wyvern.

I painted each scale individually, which was time consuming but worth it.  I also tried some different glazing and layering techniques to add veining into the wings.  Needless to say, I'm pretty proud of this one.  Wish I had snagged up Blacksting during the Kickstarter as well though.  Will have to get my hands on that one eventually.

3D file is from Rocketpig Miniatures, I printed it on the Elegoo Mars.

It's now part of my Shifting Sands Project.

So! I'm back. I haven't finished any of my other WIPs lately but I figure one more won't hurt.

I'm planning on doing a film noir style desert expedition whereupon our investigators find something not of this world.

I'm really excited for this one(not that I'm not excited for all my projects) but I have some hurdles to cross.

I want a wall between the white and grey bones, preferably crumbly looking. Not sure where to start with that.  Figure out the best way to magnetize things. And the really big one: figure out how to actually paint in the style I'm trying to do.
This will involve a lot of work and time. As well as some (maybe a lot of) practice minis.

I'm currently in the mock up stage. I've got the minis I want and I'm trying to stage them how I think will look good as well as imagine the wall where I want it.
      First stages of mock up.

Ok, this is a mini that I made as a joke for a friend of mine. He GMs a lot of games, and has always been a bit fascinated by the fact that the Half Dragon template can be added to almost any kind of creature. Including ones that reproduce by dividing.
Truly, the biology of dragons is a wonder.
Anyway, he got to completely wreck the party with this Half Black Dragon Gelatinous Cube.
I made it by combining some parts from an invisible dragon and gelatinous cube minis (both from Reaper’s Bones line). I used water effect for gap filling and a bit of sculpting, and added a little color with some thinned down paints. I wanted to give the impression that it picks up debris from the floor as it moves along.
Except for the eyes, which are totally opaque so that they can show up. Seriously, I think they’re the only part that really shows up at all in the pictures, but you get the idea.

In an unrelated project for the same friend, I found a really strange bit that I think is supposed to be the head of a dragon, but seriously looks like a half dragon spider. So that got painted too.
Man, dragons really make some poor choices.
