Again mine was just a simple semi-padded envelope. Also I had 1 item. I was part of the 58 or so "test" orders that went out for them.

That would be great. Even if Secret Weapon doesn't send out emails in time we should get an automatic notification from the USPS.

I think ours came in via USPS; and it came in a box, seeing as how we had two sets of the mines.

If mine'll arrive soon that'd be freakin' awesome. My PF players are slowly but surely marching toward their first underground crawl, which is through a mine. I'd totally rework everything I have so far to make it work on the table with these pieces. Didn't think it was going to be an option, so pleased that it looks rather possible now.

 

Provided a simple paint scheme is doable. I assume my go-to gray with dry-brushed lighter gray will be okay. I'unno. I've never done sprawling terrain like this.

Yikes. It turns out that, because of an error Secret Weapon made, none of the core sets will have the three stair pieces. Those are necessary to use the bridges and stacker pieces. They also say that they didn't order enough stair sets to cover all the backer's missing pieces. Turns out, they do have enough to sell in their online store. So guess what their solution is? Backers can buy their missing pieces from them for 20% off the full retail price plus shipping (offer expires July 31). No kidding. They messed up when they didn't tell their Chinese manufacturer to put the 3 stair pieces in the core boxes, and now the only way for backers to get them is to buy them from the online store for 20% off retail +S&H. Presumably before they either run out of stock or the offer ends in July. (>ლ)

That's a big disingenuous. The 20% code is good for anything from the Secret Weapon store, not just the missing pieces. And if they don't have enough to send them to everyone who should get them, what are they supposed to do? Have a lottery?

Just saw the update. Not satisfied with the offer. I was under the impression that they intended to sell those mines retail later on and thus this was not a one-shot production. So why not order more stairs? Willing to wait for the stairs, even willing to pay part of the extra shipping. But not willing to buy anything from their website and get hit with shipping costs and customs again.

I just read this and am left with uncertainty. I ordered four Orc Warrens (which I believe are what they are referring to as ORc Warrens #1). What does that mean for my credit?

 

When my stuff arrives vs when stuff starts to go out of stock is also a factor in my opinion here.

No, it isn't disingenuous at all. If a backer wants to get the pieces that Secret Weapon didn't ship them they have to do exactly what I posted. Yes, they can buy other things that have nothing to do with the project. A better solution than your lottery would be to offer to send the missing pieces to backers and only charge the shipping fee. First come, first served. No lottery needed. Yes, they will run out and need to order more from China and some people will have to wait for a restock. That's how limited stock works. We all understand that.

We're continuing fulfillment of rewards for North and South America backers, and we have confirmation that the last of the US made product (Paint, Bones Minis, and crystals) are in Customs for both the UK ad AU Hubs. We are communicating with these hubs twice weekly for updates and to ensure smooth fulfillment.

And now the Errors and Apology.

We saw in the comments that several people were reporting that some of the Stairs tiles advertised as included in the Core Set weren't there, and we looked into it, digging through around 2,000 emails back and forth to find out what happened.

Turns out, they're correct, and it's our error. We did not instruct the factory to include the tiles in the core set at all, and we didn't take that error into account when ordering the remaining components (the Stairs sets that would go out to retail). As a result, we simply do not have the inventory necessary to add that to all rewards that should have gotten it.

We're very sorry that this has happened, and we want to find a way to make good on this.

We have decided to offer all backers to the Kickstarter a 20% discount on a purchase on secretweaponminiatures.com - this can be used on Realms Product (The stuff from this KS) when it goes on the website in June, (after fulfillment) or on our paints, bases, or anything else. The code can only be used once per backer, and only from today, through July 31, 2018. If fulfillment is prolonged (unlikely) and the product is not available on the website by June, we can extend this.

To take advantage of this, on the Checkout screen, under Step 2 (Payment) you will see a spot for a Discount Coupon Redemption Code. For that code type or Copy/Paste in the following

This can be combined with Gift Certificates, if you have any, and is valid overseas as well.

In addition, we have a slight goof with the Dungeon Mine Entrance. There was only supposed to be one per Core Set, and one per starter Set, but there are now Two Per Core Set. As a result of this, we are giving everyone who paid for a second Dungeon Mine Entrance a credit for the cost of tile in the Pledge Manger a $4 rebate.

And as if that's not enough, we also have a similar issue with Orc Warrens, where we offered them through the PM as Orc Warrens One and Orc Warrens Two, and we received only a set of both combined - again, due to unclear instructions on our side. So backers who requested OW1 will also get OW2 for free, and those who requested OW2 will get OW 1 for free. So again, we are offering $6 rebates for those who paid for something that everyone else is getting for free.

These rebates will be printed on your packing lists, if you're one of the backers to whom this applies.

Once again, we're very sorry that this has happened. We still believe that we are delivering a top-notch product and we will work to earn your loyalty and future support. And wow, that is an incredibly lazy "solution" to the problem. They should immediately order more stairs and send the one they have out, probably in order of wave to be most fair.
