Hmm... that’s not a bad idea. Though I think the main problem is in the thin flat area between the two rocky outcropping, and any wire that would fit in there might not do much. I could drill into the rocks each side of the gap, and run a big wire across it, and then just paint it like somebody put an iron bar across to provent things from crossing into the track. If you have to go there, you might want to try music wire instead (though make sure you use the right tool to cut it). I emailed them just to be safe. Emailing them is the way to go. They didn't mention a delay for any item other than the stair sets that they didn't add to the early shipments. As was pointed out to me in the comments there was another convention this weekend just gone that i wasn't aware of. My perceptions of the company are biased due to other dealings I've had with them outside of kickstarter fulfullment. I thought it was a very nice solution to send those parts (stairs?) that they did not have enough of to Europe and AUS so that those folks (me included) would not have to wait that long.
