So just out of curiosity, does the bones 3 mausoleum happen to line up with the tiles for this?

They both have 1" squares and the Mine pieces look to be rather module. My guess is yes.

I hope there will be some inserts to square off the curves.

 

But, if I had one wishlist item it would be for 16.5mm (0.65") tracks which corresponds to HO track (probably the most popular model railroad scale).

 

This would allow ON30 vehicles to fit on the tracks. ON30 is O scale (1:48) on HO track and is typically used for narrow gauge layouts such as mines.

 

You could even carve out the existing rails and replace with HO rails, electrify, and have a working mine layout.

Keep in mind that mine pieces are just what they have shown so far.  If this is anything like a Bones KS (and I assume it could be given Reaper helping them out), there will be more reveals.  Maybe even other themes?  I have no inside knowledge, just thinking ahead and looking at the history of how a Bones KS has gone.  As well as recalling Bryan say that the base set will grow in size as more funding is brought in.

True. I'm thinking about how cool it would look to have a mine that gives way to a tomb complex, or an ancient buried temple.

With the NZD strengthening against the USD, I might be able to justify this if the core set has a useful amount of tiles.

The mine theme is nice but a little too niche for my gaming needs. Now, if they happen to have a wall package I'll be in trouble. The Stones kickstarter supplied me with piles of floor tiles but no walls. I could use a ton of walls and these look like they might be somewhat compatible with Stones. That's where they'll get me.

Sounds neat, though we don't use terrain....might be some good base making pieces perhaps, I will keep my eye on it

How useful would this game tile set be for the game?
