Dilvish the Deliverer
Greetings all. I now recognise who so of these mysterious friends are! The area around ReaperCon was a Pokemon wasteland, but now tjat I am home I can get started on the backlog of gifts. Migjt not be able to hit one a day for everyone, but you all should get a couple a week at least.

Doug Sundseth
Slowed down a bit by the paucity of Pokemon in Denton, but I finally finished the Ripple in Time questline and captured Celebi this afternoon.
Sirithiliel
it'll take me ages to get that done, i'm still trying to hatch 9 eggs haha
Cyradis
I only need a few more grass or psychic types until then. Wooo. This set of quests is annoyingly easy compared to the Mew quests.

This set of quests is annoyingly easy compared to the Mew quests. They look about the same to me. The only possibly difficult part of the Mew line was the "Catch a Ditto" one, and I got a bit lucky to finish that the first day. (I think there might have been a Ditto frequency bump about then, specifically for that quest line.)
Cyradis
I got to the Ditto stage of that one about 2 hours after they started the Gen 1 event, effectively stopping all Gen 2 spawns for weeks (including Ditto). Got a Yanma/Ditto for it after a long wait. Plus ghost types weren't as abundant then, and unless you had caught a ton of Magikarp during the water event, the Gyrados was tough (I had enough but my dad had to work a ton for it). This... just happens.
Sirithiliel
the gyarados one sucked. I had literally evolved one the week before the mythical research came out. So i had NO candy and was at single digits, because i had also powered up that Gyarados after evolving it. I was so mad when i saw that was a requirement (i live in the desert, with no lakes within hours of me. Not exactly easy to get magikarps here.). The only thing that made that bearable was when they released the water event a few weeks later and magikarp actually spawned here for once i dont' know what the events are for this research, but i do know the hatch 9 eggs is slowing me down since i dont' get out much i will say the evolve a 3rd stage plant pokemon would have taken me AGES (again, desert. No plant pokemon here), if it hadn't been for the gen 2 event making hopips so common Edited September 6, 2018 by Sirithiliel
Cyradis
The egg hatching is slow, but it is reliable. Magikarp were pretty tough in CO outside of the water event too. I actually would have thought you could get some plant types due to the Sunny Weather spawns. Perhaps not a grass type with a 3rd stage evolution though; Hoppips were scarce in CO. They are darn abundant in BC even without the event. Edited September 6, 2018 by Cyradis
Doug Sundseth
For three-stage grass pokemon, your choices for the first stage are Bulbasaur, Oddish, Bellsprout, Chikorita, Hoppip, Treecko, Lotad, Seedot. At various times several of those have been common, but if you've just done an evolution, things can be annoying.

They are darn abundant in BC even without the event. we get a very scant few plant types: Rosalie make up what feels like 90% of all our plant spawns. Occasionally we'll get a cactus fellow, very very rarely i'll find a Treecko (but not bulbasaur or chikorita for some reason, i never see those). I never find things like Exeggcutes or Bellsprouts, those do not exist here apparently. the vast majority of pokemon we get here are Snubbulls (SO MANY STUPID SNUBULLS, i'm sick of them), Paras, and then common trash like Rats, Pidgies and Sentrets, Mankeys, etc. Ekans are pretty common, as are Numels. Less common but not quite rare are Ponyta, Growlithe, and Houndours most of our spawns are fire and the ground ones. Plants are rare, fish never appear unles you are lucky enough to have a man-made lake near you (which we don't, not for hours around). Bug pokemon other than Paras and SPinerets are not here, i never see weedle or caterpie. Flying pokemon can be found, but only common ones like pidgey and spearows, the occasional hoothoot.
