and they all turned into dittos. at least the ones i caught. Talk about disappointing xD

I saw this in the sidebar and thought you were saying your Pokemon turned into doritos. I would totally play this game if I got free doritos out of it.

No. I had swapped it to the second evee I needed to walk

is hat why it didn’t work? That is stupid. 10 freakin 10k down the drain. I barely make any distance to walk buddies or eggs, it took me weeks to get that evee walked and now I have to do it twice more? Screw it

i am quitting for a while. I am tired of this game. Want to know what husband and I have hatched so far? A crap ton of alolan digletts, alolan other things and one tangela. That is it. Over a dozen eggs hatched between us and we don’t have a single regional yet and he event is about over

why do a event and then make a stupid rare chance of getting the event thing?

no, I am done for a while. I am taking a break and hoping this stupid game gets its act together and starts being fun again and quit with the dumb cash grab events and buggy researches

Yes. You needed to evolve it while it was your buddy. I had that happen on my first one - ended up with a Vaporeon.

I end up walking a reasonable amount and can pick up little bits of walking credit while on the bus though. I haven't driven a car in over a month now. Lazy days I probably get an egg every other day (5k), so walking an eevee was annoyingly boring of a task to me. I was kinda looking forward to a longer quest chain.

At least it is a known achievable goal. Gyrados is friggin' daunting when you live in a desert. Walking is reliable.

During summer, I bet. Arizona is a bloody furnace. Will it improve significantly for you in winter? When I've been to the Tucson gem & mineral show, it has been quite pleasant (February). Up here, summer has been mostly gorgeous, minus one week of fire. When the rain hits I'll be hampered on catches, although walking to and from the bus will still remain. Dunno how cold I'll be yet. Can't be worse than San Francisco in winter. *shrug*

yes it'll be better in winter, though by then this region exclusive event will be over lol

i dunno. i think i'll still take a break from it, the game has been more irritating than enjoyable lately

Looks like the October Spinda quest is 2 nice curveball throws in a row for a pokemon. (Type 1 this month.)

And I think I might have been wrong about being able to get a quest from the same pokestop twice in a day, though perhaps when there's a community day in progress that changes. (When all the pokestops give you the same quest, it's hard to keep track.)

Did the community day ones let you do them multiple times? I don't recall getting them again from a single spot, until after the event was done, but I could be wrong. I need to go get that Spinda one. The campus group often posts locations to good quests - Spindas, rare candies, any that can give a shiny or a chansey. Last month we skipped the pinap berry one since it required catching fire types, which was awful until the event started (ponyta and growlithe around made it doable, otherwise fire types are rare here). This month it will be easy at least.

I don't know for sure. I thought they did, because I was walking in loops and finishing the same quest over and over, but it's entirely possible that I was walking in loops and getting the exact same quest from different stops each time around the loop. When I'm doing a 15 stop (or whatever) loop multiple times, I can't recall exactly where anything specific came from. (I haven't been recording for group use, so I haven't been paying that kind of attention.)
