Basic Training Sets

I wanted to let folks know that all Basic Training Sets for our US backers have been shipped out and you should have received an email from UPS confirming it’s on the way. IF YOU DID NOT…

 

ONE: Your order in the Pledge Manager was not “locked†in. While you can continue to add to your order after its locked, we cannot process an order for shipping without it. So, if your Pledge includes the Basic Training Set and it wasn’t locked down, we didn’t send you one at this point.

 

TWO: You are a backer outside the US. Due to the way we are now fulfilling non-US orders we have to send all of the orders at one time and as a result of the situation discussed above, we have a lot of orders not ready to go.

 

SOOOO…

If you have not locked down your order and it includes a Basic Training Set I have extended the early-shipping until December 31st, 2016. You should log out of the Pledge Manager, refresh and log back in to make sure you are getting any updated information. Make any last-minute additions or changes to your pledge and then LOCK-IN THE ORDER!

If you want to add the Basic Training Set to your order and get in on the extended early-shipping you can. Have a friend wanting to order it? They can set up an account and get it as well but any orders received (locked-in or not) after the Dec 31st deadline WILL NOT SHIP until the final Kickstarter fulfillment in May 2017.

For all Basic Training Sets locked in by the Dec 31st deadline we will ship out the first week on Jan 2017 by UPS to our US backers. For non-US backers we will ship to our fulfillment partners and they will forward your order from there so I can’t give you an exact time you will receive them.

 

Please Note: If you are ordering the Basic Training Set as a late backer and did not pledge during the Kickstarter the base price for this package is $72.00.

 

Now a few other bits of info…

 

On December 9th, we will be releasing several CAV: Strike Operations related updates and new items. All of which will be available FREE through the website at www.cavhq.com including:

 

Updated Errata and Clarifications: As we have had more and more players pick up the game we receive feedback, questions and other observations as they relate to game play and the rules. We have made a couple of substantial rule changes that will be addressed in this update and with all the new rulebooks that have just shipped we want make sure our players have the latest info. So make sure you download this when available.

 

Updated CAV Construction Program and Force Manager Software: The new update will include any new rule updates, new models and a couple of other features our players have asked for! It is PC based (Sorry Apple users but we are trying to get a version for you in the future).

 

Updated Force Lists: Updated model lists for each faction.

 

Updated Data Cards: This will include the master file with all the data cards for every model officially released for CAV (all versions) in one easy PDF file and color cards for every model in the first and second Kickstarter with a few more scattered in as well.

 

Flash Point One: Assault on New Memphis

The first scenario pack in our Flash Point series will bring an updated version of this classic CAV battle and focus on the Terran independent world of Algoab III (Uakhet) as the opening shots of the First Galactic War are fired! Each Flash Point module will include a trove of background information, new models, new units and personalities, and much much more!

So I *may* have forgotten to actually lock in my pledge until today. (And by "may", I mean "absolutely"). :down:

 

I sort of forgot what exactly I pledged for. But now it's locked in, extras included. :bday:

Haha.  These made we wonder if I had remembered to lock in and I totally hadn't.

I'm right there . . . I have some of almost everything so far and I'm watching my holiday budget and if I have an extra $20 on the 31st I'll pop for another of each set of paints!
