I'm wondering if the Basic Training Set is what I just received in the post office. I wasn't expecting anything, but I got a notification by email two days ago, and won't be able to pick it up until next Wednesday. I really wasn't expecting it.

 

I was able to track down that it was sent from Denton TX (i.e. Reaper HQ), but I haven't ordered anything from Reaper in over two months. Neither do I have outstanding orders anywhere else, so if it's not the Basic Set, then I'm utterly confused about what else it's could be.

New minis are looking mighty fine.  I really like the Javelin and the Dragonfly.

It's confirmed, my basic training set arrived!   

 

The rule book, 8 units, two paints, bunch of dice, initiative cards and two sheets of unit stats.

 

I never realized how dark the Bones CAV minis were. The ones I saw during Reapercon were nowhere as dark.

There are still a few white ones floating around that I use for demos and paint and takes so you "might" of seen those at ReaperCon last year. The gray that you received is the color the production ones are in.

Posted by CAVBOSS (Creator)   Basic Training Set Fulfillment At this point the folks who had pledged for this package and had locked their order in the Pledge Manager by the original date (or the extension) have had their set shipped by us. With that being said, orders in the Australia/New Zealand areas have not been delivered to their final address. We are working on the situation and hope to have the issue resolved as quickly as possible. Final KS Fulfillment Earlier this week I received word from our overseas manufacturer that they were going to be unable to complete their end of the project as expected. I didn’t receive any exact reason as to why, but my feeling is as they have run late with other projects they are also working on ours got pushed back in their schedule. I have been trying all week to get an updated completion date on their part and so far have not made much progress. Obviously this is not what anyone wanted to hear but my feeling is it won’t be a huge delay. I do intend to come up with something “extra” to add to everyone’s pledge and will let you know once I decide what that will be as we get a better shipping date. For those that may be more critical of this news, I want to let everyone know that this came as a surprise to us as well. We “punched” all the “buttons” as needed to keep this project on schedule from our side with the things we could control. You have my sincerest apology and your patience will be much appreciated. @ David It is my intention to get the paint only pledges done still in May. Once I have a schedule update from Reaper on where they are at on that I will be able to give you a better answer.

I am excited to get my new paint colors! I just need to figure out how to store it. I have three of the clear acrylic nail polish racks, but they are full with MSP, MSPHD, and MSP Limited Editions. Not sure I can justify the wall space of a third...
