fantastic I love the violet on the inner wing area. notice you went mage heavy, but you would probably have a greater chance of victory that way.

Great job.  Love the limestone colored stonework. The smaller figures look good too.

I love your color choices. The dragon looks great and the ruins are so different than how this is usually painted. Looks great!

I love the colors you used!! If you get a minute, please, please share some of the main colors! ^_^

Hey there thanks for your interest! O.k. here goes..On the dragon I undercoated with Docraft artiste Cobalt Blue, then highlighted through Army painter Ultramarine blue right up to Army painter Electric blue...The inner membranes of the wing where undercoated Docraft artiste Black then highlighted with Docraft artiste Metallic Amethyst up to Docraft artiste Metallic Rose. I then gave them a wash of Army painter Quickshade ink Purple tone!

The ruins was quite complicated. I used a base of Docraft artiste Black, then I used Army painter Fur brown as a second undercoat..After that I used Docraft artist Flesh which I dry brushed over the Brown around ten layers. I then striated the brickwork with Army painter Chaotic Red and Army.painter Barbarian flesh side by side in random striations . I dry brushed over the that with Docraft flesh again for a worn look to the striations! Finally I washed over the stonework with Army painter Soft tone ink.

Sorry about the repetitive language! I am just trying to be accurate as possible in my description!

2020 has-been rough on everyone but some people have had it rougher than others.  A friend of mine is disabled and has had a really hard time just trying to keep basic necessities done.

I thought I would send her a little friend who's got simpler an cuter problems. Purple is her favorite color.  He goes out in the mail on Monday

      Hope you like him too...

Wizards of the Coast D&D metal model.
From the year Two-Thou-sand (you have to say it like Conan O'Brien)
Rescued from the Island of Lost Pewture, (aka my friends rpg storage shed)  and painted up. I love his goggles, I don't think you see enough of those on wizard minis. I can see a fireball coming.

I haven’t been feeling inspired this week; too much outside world creeping in, I suppose, but I did finish up one little scenery project for my “scenic bases” upgrade.  I got the Mantic Terrain Crate walls as part of the Kickstarter a while back.  They look well enough, but are very thin and there is no way they will stand by themselves on a table (to allow them to be reconfigurable).  I decided the thing to do with them was to group them into a couple of basic enclosures. Last fall I got a buch of irregularly shaped masonite scenery bases with beveled edges, so I sorted around to find ones that the rectangles of the walls would fit.

Having a bit of extra space at one corner, I planted a few trees to give it an organic feel.

Prince August true (small) 25mm figures are shown for a scale estimate.  These would be pretty petite walls against Reaper figures, I think.

I considered adding crops or headstones, but decided that it was best to leave the interior fairly open to allow deployment of troops on 60mm square multiple figure bases.

A long time ago, in March 2019 to be exact, @NomadZeke set a painting challenge for that years April Fools Day. Paint something ridiculous.......20 months later I finally finished my entry for it He's based on a Pathfinder Huge pawn holder for ease of use in games.

I absolutely adore this mini, in my opinion it's the best Huge sized dragons on the market and one of Julie Guthrie's most stunning sculpts

I humbly present to you, Kyphrixis the multi-hued Rainbow Dragon!
