I like him! Good job, Herman!

My only critique is the background for the pics, I get you are trying to make him look like he's in a jungle, but it's very distracting. I'd much rather focus my eyes on the figure and see it against a more neutral background.

Noted, I was wondering if it would be distracting or cool...

Next time I will keep it more neutral and maybe a few extra pics with the background for fun.

OR do both. Take some pics with neutral background, change it out and add some "for fun" background images. Then you have the best of both worlds.

That would be my suggestion, too.

I kinda liked the jungle pics; it sort of 'put me in the scene', as though I was one of those hapless soldiers from your background, trying to spot whatever's killing off my fellows.

I had a burst of mini painting and finished a bunch of minis this month - my first time painting I think since December 2020?
      Terraincrate (WIP)
      Crystal Peaks Campsite

      Peaceful Park

      Monster (WIP)

Bones Pygmy Mammoth (WIP) with toddler

      Nolzurs Treant (WIP)

      Bones graveyard terrain (WIP)

      Bones High Rollers (WIP)

Not all of these have been sealed, some have not had matte coats yet.
The "fire" from the Crystal Peaks set got lost during priming.
Links to come when not in my phone. Surprised myself with this.

Two dragons from 2 different times, done with the same colors.  Basically I had both of these on the table and I decided to just use the same palette for both

First up:  the Panther dragon from Ral Partha.  This guy is a long snakey one, his tail was very difficult to get to but overall fun to paint.  This mini just seems to ooze stealth as she slips round alleys and empty streets making people disappear.  This miniature has been sitting on my shelf for decades because I liked the art and the figure but I just didn't know what to do with it.  I finally just broke down and said I am going to paint this!

Then on the flip side is the Treasure Rocky.  This little tyke has acquired his first hoard and he is insanely protective  and proud.
And he should be.  I was looking at the reaper store and he and most of his pals are sold out, again!  These are just a joy to paint and I
love painting them.  they are just so entertaining and so full of character that no matter what color you add to them or what you put them in
      they have to shine!

      Hope you enjoy them!

When the Reptilians go to War they often bring their Beastmasters who command vicious creatures.
But there is one who is the most fearsome of all, Taloc the Beastmaster is a formidable warrior himself wielding his ceremonial weapons there are few who can withstand him, but his mount is the most terrifying of all.
Her name is Kroq-Gar and she's the largest Ancient One to be found in the Lost World.
How it came to be that she chose to bond with Taloc nobody knows, but she did and Taloc only needs a gentle touch or whispered word and Kroq-Gar will do as he pleases.
She can swallow a human whole.
There are other terrible creatures in the Jungle, but even the mighty Carnosaur is no match for Kroq-Gar.
With her spiked tail and huge teeth she can kill any creature and her back is protected by a spiked boney ridge.
Taloc made sure to protect her even further by adding golden plates to her side and a headcrest.
When Taloc and Kroq-Gar appear on the battlefield there is no doubt who will be victor.

Never heard of this before but it's a cool monster. Not sure when or where you'd run into one, but I bet it will be the most inconvenient time and place.   According to online sources they come in all colors, so I loosely based mine on a green iguana.
