Wizard Lee
So, I'm excited that CAV is available to the general public. Been needing a giant stompy robot game. BUT I don't know anything about the factions and which CAVs belong to which. Can someone help me out?
Vil-hatarn
Here's the Faction Model List from Talon Games' website. Unfortunately, with the discontinuation of the metals about 2/3 of said models are unavailable for the foreseeable future, until current and future KS campaigns deliver. Basically, you're limited to Terran and Rach for now if you want much variety in your selection.
Girot
Hi there Wizard Lee! I am in the process of putting together a guide specific to the current Kickstarter that you will find helpful. Once that is complete I'll work on one for the current retail range. EDIT: CAVBOSS added a "Basic Training" option to the current KS that comes with everything you need to get started! That would be a wonderful (and helpful) first step! Edited July 24, 2016 by Girot

That seems unnecessarily limiting this early in the game.
Vil-hatarn
Earlier this week. ReaperBryan explained the situation here. But yes, I agree. Unfortunate that they couldn't retain at least the models not yet converted to plastic.
EvilJames
I just saw the explanation. I guess that makes sense. Seems like they could still cast on demand like with the NiC models for dark heaven, but I guess there could be costs and what not that I'm not aware of.
