Cleaning Brushes

Recommended Posts

Rinse often (even on the same color, always between colors, and multiple jars for metallics.

 

Clean and condition after every use, regardless of brush brand. Also, I never leave them sitting in water as it softens the glue on the ferrule and will split the wood handle. I've been teaching my kids proper brush care as well. Waiting for one to come home from school and say how they got in trouble because they wouldn't leave the brush sitting in the water. :rolleyes:
