:lol: Way ahead of you; I actually crashed shortly after posting and slept for a couple of hours. I could sure go for a massage, yeah, my shoulder and hands are not terribly pleased with me, heh.
 

Congratulations!   You might be slightly insane after two challenges and are on your way to becoming a honorary Stanky Goblin!

Haha, I really didn't! I've never played with bright colors so much before, so this was quite the eye-opening experience. I'm chuckling over how incredibly colorful he is compared to all of my other minis, which I tend to paint more realistically.

 

 

Hoo boy, that was a lot of fun! Thanks and congrats again to bugs for being a good sport and accepting my challenge. I now know that I definitely have nothing on ya for speed, that's for sure! ^_^

 

So, is this the part where we call it a draw, shake hands, then meander over to the nearest soda fountain and drink their entire stock of root beer dry? ::D:

Buglips and OneBoot, I am sorry to have missed your epic struggle.  Congratulations to the both of you!

 

Wow, awesome progress on the first evening/night!

Not only is this fun to watch but it might help me decide what colours to  use on my Khanjiras, err, Khanjiri?  

 

If it is Latinate, the plural is Khanjirae, if Japanese, Khanjira.

(wow, that really doesn't have the same ring as "Khanjira the World Breaker, does it? Sorry Jerry. :lol:)

 

I still have a few bits and pieces to tidy up, but I'm posting my official completion picture now, since my hands are currently nowhere near steady enough to handle painting in cracks and lines and straightening up edges.  :wacko:

 

I'll have much nicer pics once that's done, which will be either tonight or tomorrow morning-ish. ^_^

 

Oh, and yes, that is George the brush that Jerry is holding; he kept whining about how Kally had one, so now he has one too.  :upside:

Jerry is proving a bit tricky to photograph properly. I actually have taken nicer pictures since I finished, but while fiddling with the settings on my phone camera caused most of the colors to show true, it made the orange look eye-hurting day glo fluorescent. :mellow: I need to do some more fiddling, and probably try a few different backgrounds, before I post my final pics in Show-off/Inspiration Gallery.

I thought about it, and then realized that Khanjira has a couple of qualities in its favor compared to Kaladrax.

 

- No knobbly tail of never ending length.

- No wings. Though not individually heavy. Wings have huuuge surface areas, almost as large as the body of most minis. So the presence or absence of wings almost has a factor of 2 on total time spent.

I've been remiss in not posting that I got my not-trophy!! :bday: It came almost two weeks ago, but pictures didn't happen until recently.

 

Package from Canada land! Jerry wanted to know if he could stomp it flat. I told him no.
