Excellent start for both of them.  Looks clear that the Khanjiri are gonna get seriously pwned in this fight.  

 

I am curious as to how Buglips has 13 fingers left to replace the injured one.  I thought it was 20.  :)

I don't know why, but that clear purple over brown liner *works* on Khanjira.

It's actually blue liner; he's blue all over, and the base got the brown liner treatment.

 

Don't expect any progress on Jerry until late tonight; today is very full of doing things that are not painting. :P

Uh... actually I have been goofing off.  Recently I bought an airbrush.  Less recently, I assembled a 1/700 Scharnhorst.  While doing the latter I pledged that if I ever got the former I would henceforth only build 1/350 scale battleboats (being twice as big and half as fiddly).  Troo to my word, I found a cheapish 1/350 Bismarck to try out my new airwhammer with.  

 

Unfortunately, of all the days it could have arrived it showed up yesterday.   Naturally.  So all last night when I was doodling about with Khanilicious I kept stealing glances at my sexy, sexy Bismarck.  Eventually I could resist its siren call no longer and so this afternoon I bundled Khanjira off to a safe place and spent the afternoon lovingly airbrushing my new sweetheart.

 

With that out of my system, I think I can get back to Khanjirarama.

It's okay, I'll catch up.  It was an afternoon of highs and lows.  The high point was when I discovered in my MSPs the absolute most perfect colour for teak decking ever crafted.  It is a literal joy to behold, merely opening the cap results in an explosion of angelic choruses and heavenly harps.

 

Quite pleased, I looked at the label to see what number it was for future procurement.

It's 20 finger *AND* toes. How you split them up is up to you or your freakish mutation.

 

For painting stuff, an overabundance of fingers may be a advantage. See, he's already bragging about goofing off.
