So, I ordered my Garrick the Bold and boiled and straightened and froze and boiled and straightened and froze and boiled and straightened and froze and gave up straightening the sword and cut it off.

 

WHACK!

 

And... what to do... what to do...

 

 

THAT'S IT!

Found it!

 

Grab snippers.

And thus it begins...

 

 

Then more putty, and after the okay by ReaperBryan, expansion of the base for stability.

 

Presenting: Sir *BONK!*Scale!

 

 

 

 

Tonight priming will be done. Will need to use two kinds because of the various materials.

And a pic of the underside of the base to show I made certain not to affect the height. When I formed the GS around the base, I had it sitting on a piece of porcelain tile. This ensured a smooth, flat surface.

I used red liner on the Bonesium parts and Reaper White primer on the rest. I'll be going back over everything with the red liner, I think.

For the record, the cat head was chopped off the cat from 02399: Familiar Pack II and the GS is from 75006: Green Stuff Strip. Paint is Reaper Master Series Red Liner (original SKU), and RMS White Primer.

 

Only thing not Reaper is the wire armature I made for *BONK!*'s body.

Ahhh, I was wondering if you had a plethora of decapitated cat heads for just such an occasion.

Basecoated the chain in #29817 Winter Blue and the tabard in "black green"? (yellow label, black top, bought this year at SXSW at the Reaper Booth, can't find it in the store).

 

Going blurple on the plate.

 

Edit: The green is Black Green. #9236, which in the online store is Green Shadow. White label and cap.

Colors: *BONK!* is 9404: Cinnamon Red

Yellow (basecoat for gold): 29807 Mustard Yellow

Tabard: 9236 Black Green (aka Green Shadow)

Chain: 29817 Winter Blue

Plate & Shield: Mix of 29818 Nightsky Blue and 9023 Imperial Purple

Brown Leather bits: 9040 Dark Shadow

 

 

Plans: Plate and Shield will be a blurpish-shaded silver

Chain will be a shaded blueish silver.

Tabard will remain green.

Brown leather bits are... brown leather bits.

Yellow parts and rivets will be shaded gold.

*BONK!*: Head will remain an orange-ish red, as the original *BONK!* is, and the body will be freehanded using the original *BONK!*'s patterning. Won't be an exact match, but I'm going to do my best here.
