So I've realized the white zenithal prime went on bumpy :/ Will to smooth things disappearing :)

 

Anyway. Shaded the purples and brought back some mids. Sketched in some highs.

Thanks! I was going for part anime part Nicki Minaj (dose hips), because my fiancee calls her Nicki. Also it's nice to break out of my muted color palette every now and again!

Looking very nice!  I'm really liking the rich purples of the cloak, and her hair is super fun!

I am such a sucker for dark skin and pink hair, loving the colour scheme. Looking forward to seeing your final shading on the cloak too, the blocked shadows and highlights are looking good!

Thanks! New mix on the dark skin to shake things up, I used Bright Skin Shadow mixed into Dark Skin. I'm not sure what the heck the Bright Skin triad is for by itself, as it's...bright... but I wanted to put some subtle oranges into the flesh tones to play off the purples. It's almost too subtle!

 

I may have to play with Bright Skin Shadow some more as an orange, it seems to have whatever skin tone mojo Anne puts into her flesh colors that makes it really work well in interesting ways.

I think Bright Skin is for people who are massively sunburned (quick! Beach diorama!).

Some more pinks, and the metals roughed in. Not sure if I just want to call it done and move on or spend time blending stuff out, as it's super rough. I was really feeling a lot better about my brush control overall today, so I'm already calling it a win as that was the main point of the project.
