I find this interesting, but I'm not sure how much it will cost to get these printed or laser-cutted, so I need to find out about it in my area where I live.

Alas, I have no 3D printer, nor do I currently need one.

 

But this is a very nice alternative to solid walls. I love the modularity and the fact that one can print out their own wall decors.

 

Now the only thing it needs is 5ft-10ft wall length equivalents instead of just the 15ft segments.

I'm assuming that the 3 panel walls are the 15' equivalent?

There's a small beam for shorter walls in there, in the "Classic Z-cide odd-shaped room beams"

 

They also seem interested in suggestions... I could check the comments and maybe even ask for 5' walls.

 

As for the "no need for a 3D printer"...

Everyone who gets one always manage to find a need...

I don't have a  3d printer, but I can "borrow" one ... but not for printing huge files. But printing a couple of those beams will not be a problem.

Im kind of disappointed.  I saw the picture and thought this would be awesome aternative to dwarven forges city buildier....and far cheaper...and FAAAAAAAAARRRR less work to put together..

 â€‹But you are not getting  The stuff printed for you or the printouts on that industrial cardstock.  No....How well this works is dependant on you and your materials.  I sort am starting to hate 3d printing....

 

With that said...I have been tempted to buy into this anyway....and have it done by a professional place.  Just wondering what the cost would be.......

You can probably print on thinner paper, and just laminate them afterwards, instead of using cardstock.

What I like about this project is the simplicity of the design. It's not perfect, but the concept is simple enough that a CAD hobbyist with an adequate 3D printer could create something similar.

same here. 3D printer files are piling up (some awesome stuff), but I don't have a printer. But these files here are probably cheap to get printed at a 3D print hub.
