Darklands: Savage Hordes III is a fantastic Kickstarter project from Mierce Miniatures designed to fund mounted miniatures for all the various kindreds of Darklands, as well as theSavage Hordes Muster Book!

5f1241c88770689d898a9cbc2ee1982f_origina

Backing Darklands: Savage Hordes III is a great opportunity to get into the dark fantasy world of Darklands for the first time, to expand your existing Darklands collection or maybe just to grab some fantastic miniatures to paint. We'll give you the option to purchase everything in resin, too, if you're more of a painter than a gamer!

Darklands is a tabletop skirmish wargame in which YOU command the hosts of man and beast that your ancestors once did for glory, power or simple survival.

You can play Darklands with all of our amazing miniatures, including our incredible monsters and anything produced by this project, in a wargame designed specifically for them in a setting that you already know a lot about... for the lands of darkness, the "dark lands" as we call them, are in fact the north and west of Europe and of course the sunken lands still remembered, yet no longer seen, from ancient times.

Intrigued? Have a look at the bottom of this project's page for more information on Darklands the wargame!

To keep things as simple as possible, this project’s rewards are mostly based around the concept of a Mounted Starter Host - the "METAL MOUNTED STARTER HOST" and the "RESIN MOUNTED STARTER HOST", as well as the "SAVAGE HORDES BOOK & HOST", designed to get you and a friend playing Darklands!

There's also a mighty early bird reward - the "ALL THE INITIAL HOSTS" reward, which gives you a HUGE discount if you go for all five of the initial hosts in metal (the Duguth Ä’ored, Oghureach [resin], Horse-Ax-Drune, Reiver Horse and WihtgÄr Horse) - it saves you over 50% from purchasing the hosts individually!

As well as rewards that allow you to pledge for monsters, there is also an "I JUST WANT SOME COOL MINIATURES" reward, for those who want to pick and choose particular miniatures from the starter hosts, other miniatures we unveil or accessories and books.

8306978c8a87b3f32e9b8605d16f41b7_origina

Starter Hosts contain a small Darklands host of around 499 gold - so Encounter Host size - where possible, and you can add the Darklands: First Edition rule book, order tokens and D10 dice to your pledge to ensure you have everything you need to get started!

The Mounted Starter Hosts for this project almost always contain:

  • 1x Commander
  • 1x Mounted unit of 5x miniatures, including champion, banner bearer and herald where appropriate

The Mounted Starter Host that will be yours once the project's funding goal is achieved is outlined below.

Those Jute look a long way off.

Not sure I'd want such a large gaggle of them, either. That's a lot of cavalry for non-gamers!

Yeah.  Not sure that I'll go for a host either.  But Grima on the centipede is a stretch goal at £15k and I might go for that.  But if turtle-men appear in this KS then I'll be weeping for my wallet.

I hate losing out on the host deals, since that's usually where the value is. But I'll probably get the unit champion and a rider or two. Maybe the mounted Grima, depends on where the budget is when it gets cast up.

Still tempted to get a walvax or two, those are pretty awesome. But the Jute are so nice...

Just received a box of Mierce stuff. My thoughts are mixed, the Ysian stuff (infantry and a couple of monsters) is fantastic, but the Jute infantry are tiny, so small that they look fine alongside old 25mm Citadel undead.

      Story
Depending on the amount of orders received for each project, delivery dates might vary. The initial shipment dates indicated are not final, and even though we're committed to giving all our customers the best service we can, sometimes the amount of orders received might make the final shipment date vary compared to our initial estimates. Please keep this possibility in mind before placing your order.
Regarding both the bundles and the stretch goals described above, no swaps of model of any kind are allowed. Therefore, please don’t ask us to swap any stretch goal with other add-ons or any perk models with other miniatures, because that cannot be done.
We created something for those who like to not take themselves too seriously, for those who would like to relax while painting - with less details, but by no means not enough of them - for those who love their minis with a side dose of cuteness overload and, finally, for those who might have children to introduce to miniature gaming, by giving all of these people something that players will love (or hate, as the case may be) no matter their age!
Wait a minute… delivery estimated after only two week after the campaign ends? A Greebo campaign?!
Oh yes, and here’s why: because we’ve started production already! We’re convinced that we can reach the campaign goal, at the least, and that’s why we started the manufacturing process of everything. Therefore, the second you complete your Pledge Manager (let us remind all of you, if you don’t complete it, there will be no shipment, so do it!) your package will be processed and sent, just like that.
We want to open and close this campaign in record time, and we’re confident that we can do it!

Kobolds Vs. Goblins is a game designed, tested, built and played by my son Max and me (You saw him in the video).  The concept was something we came up with for a contest on The Game Crafter using roll & write mechanics.  What we ended up making was a fast and fun game that can be played by people of any age.  It's quick and easy to learn and setup is as easy as opening the box.
Max and I decided that people shouldn't be forced to buy our game just to play it.  So, you are free to download the full color print and play version of the game using this link.   FREE PRINT AND PLAY  (including solo mode) You'll need 6 normal D6 dice and something to mark the paper.  (For prototyping, we used clear cubes, but pencil with eraser will work also)

I'll admit... I have no idea how those of you who share KS from others include all the details and fancy stuff. I clearly didn't do this correctly. Munchkin Metropolis traditionally does woodcrafting, and I've been very satisfied with the quality and production time that's come from my prior interactions with him. Figured I'd try and get the word out about his current KS, which he developed with his son.

      Story
Introduction Early Bird Exclusive Pledge Levels The Miniatures Stretch Goals Fulfilment Delivery  Hello guys, firstly thank you for taking the time to check out my project; High Fantasy Miniature Collection.
The aim of the project is to expand my miniature line into well, an actual line rather than my current 3 offerings. My first 2 projects have been critical in deciding whether the business would be a viable venture, I am very pleased to say that I will continue to chip away at my own tiny little corner of the miniature market.
Success with this project will set me up to continue to produce more and more fine scale miniatures for gamers and collectors, as a quite new small business I am heavily dependent on your support to continue forward, I am not a long established business with financial backing, when you back me on Kickstarter you are literally the life blood of Throne Down Games and I cannot express in words what it means to me as a small business, as an artist, as an individual, that you offer me your support.
In this project you will find a selection of miniatures for your tabletop gaming, painting and collecting. The miniatures are 32mm fine scale resin with the option to pick them up in the larger scales of 54mm and a select few in 75mm, perfect for those who collect to paint and/or diorama build!
Going forward a select few will be available in 54mm and 75mm for retail along side the 32mm range.
I have a huge passion not only for miniatures but high fantasy, I hope you find something you like and perhaps a little bit different in my work than what you typically find in the miniature market! Thank you for taking the time to check out my project and I whole heartedly thank you in advance for any and all support you can offer me.
      Early Bird
For this project I will be running an Early Bird for the £40.00, 10-4 pledge, the Early Bird will run until midnight the day following successful funding. The Early Bird grants the exclusive Story Teller miniature in 32mm absolutely FREE as a massive thank you for pledging early at this level.
EB end Example; If the project funds at 20:00 on a Monday, the Early Bird will close at 23:59 Tuesday.
Exclusive miniature - The Story Teller
For this project I have designed an exclusive miniature that will only be available as part of this campaign, this miniature will not be available anywhere else once the campaign has ended.
This exclusive miniature is FREE in 32mm scale for the 10-4 Early Bird pledge and does not count toward one of your 10 miniature selections as a massive thank you for supporting me at this level.
This miniature is available as an add-on or one of your miniature selections for the Build Your Own, 5 for 5 and the standard 10-4 pledge.
The Story Teller; A theatrical mage who literally brings the pages of their story book to life! Pledges
I have tried to build the pledges to give maximum scope for customization, from 1 or 2 mini's to complete sets, you choose how you pledge **this can always be changed during the pledge manager phase**
Build Your Own pledge is subject to a small price reduction from the future RRP, the 5 for 5 and 10-4 pledges are subject to further discount against the RRP and when pledging for stand alone miniatures, on top of the set discounts you can also add additional copies and the larger 54mm and 75mm scale miniatures at a reduced price depending on the initial pledge level.
All miniatures will be supplied with a simple 25mm flagstone scenic resin base, NPC miniatures will additionally be supplied with a 25mm wooden flooring scenic resin base, all 54mm miniatures will be supplied with the above in 50mm and likewise for the 75mm miniatures.
      Pledge: Build Your Own
The perfect starting point to pickup a few miniatures you like the look of without the larger financial commitment of set pledges. To build your pledge please add £6.00 per 32mm miniature you would like, and/or £12.00 per 54mm miniature, and/or £26.00 per 75mm miniature. Miniature choice can be selected after the campaign ends through the pledge manager.
      Pledge: KS1 Return Backers
This pledge is only for returning backers from my first project.
      Pledge: 5 for 5
The 5 for 5 pledge offers you the choice of any 5 32mm miniatures at the reduced price of £5.00 each. Reduced price add-ons are available for this pledge. Miniature choices can be selected after the campaign ends through the pledge manager.
      Add-ons:
32mm miniature: £5.00 each 54mm miniature: £10.00 each 75mm miniature: £25.00 each n.b. During the pledge manager phase you will be able to select which miniatures you would like, this can be distributed over all scales for example you could select 5x 32mm miniatures totalling £25.00, you could also select 3x 32mm miniatures and 1x 54mm miniature again totalling £25.00 (3 @ £5.00 = £15.00 + 1 @ £10.00 = £25.00)
      Pledge: 10-4
The 10-4 pledge offers you the choice of any 10 32mm miniatures at the reduced price of £4.00 each. Reduced price add-ons are available for this pledge. Miniature choices can be selected after the campaign ends through the pledge manager.
      Add-ons:
32mm miniature: £4.00 each 54mm miniature: £8.00 each 75mm miniature: £24.00 each n.b. During the pledge manager phase you will be able to select which miniatures you would like, this can be distributed over all scales for example you could select 10x 32mm miniatures totalling £40.00, you could also select 8x 32mm miniatures and 1x 54mm miniature again totalling £40.00 (8 @ £4.00 = £32.00 + 1 @ £8.00 = £40.00)

      A message from Secret Weapon:

      Big news time everyone!
As many of our pledgers know, we need to adjust the Kickstarter - On the positive, we have a good amount of backers and we know that MANY of you are waiting to up your pledges. We have had a really positive response to the product itself, and lots of interest on the customer and retail side. We deeply appreciate this and your support.
BUT - we have a good amount of backers who are opting to wait on their $1 pledge. This is entirely our fault. We caused this when we locked our core offering behind stretch goals. There is no single item that is core. ALL the options are core. We made it so that many of you had to wait around to buy what you already knew they wanted.
That's a big boo boo, but it was made with the best of intentions. The system was set up so that there was no mandatory amount, and you added what you wanted and nothing more. We thought that this was better for the customer, but it quickly became obvious the vast majority of backers want jump-in points at set amounts like a usual KS... and weren't entirely sure about a pledge manager that was open during the campaign.
So, what are we going to do to fix this for you?
We are going to close the campaign, and relaunch it next week. That sucks and it's embarrassing. But ultimately everything else that happens is great for EVERYONE, because this is what happens next:
1.) ALL themes will be shown and unlocked right off the bat. If you want Urban Streets or Infinity, you just go get it, no hoops or delays to choosing what you want. You also know exactly what is on offer.
2.) There will be pledge levels: $50(+), $100(+) and $200(+). The 100 dollar + level will include a set of 3 weathering pigments (really really good ones too - Burning Sands, Dark Earth, and Rust Orange), and the 200 dollar + level will be the pigment set, and a set of 3 genuinely awesome paints. Secret Weapon's Rubber Highlight, Rubber and Tire Black, our most popular colors! At the end of the campaign you will use the Pledge Manager, as usual, to make whatever specific choices you want based on your KS pledge. The Pledge Manger will be available during the campaign for those that would like help figuring out a total pledge level, but that is optional, and you can wait until the end of the campaign to sign up.
3.) Each of the $50(+), $100(+) and $200(+) pledge levels will have 3 shipping zone options
      Americas, Europe (NOT UK)
      AU, NZ, Asia, Pacific
      United Kingdom (NOT Europe)
4.) Any extra themes that are developed during the course of the KS will be added immediately, no stretch, we just give you the option as soon as it is available.
There will be 17 themes live at the time of launch, which doesn't count the licensed product from Corvus Belli and CMON Zombiecide.
