Neyuttad
I just found out that saliva is an excellent blending medium! *curse* This is way way bad news for my immune system!
Enchantra
It is bad news for more than your immune system. If there is paint on that brush, I would be weary of what chemicals are in it. Just because something is labeled non-toxic does not mean that prolonged exposure to it over time could not cause problems. Brush licking is something I would avoid. Use a wet sponge if you must. :0)
Then don't be dumb, spit onto your painting palette.
Neyuttad
Heh, that's disgusting. Anyway, I don't plan to be a brush licker anytime soon, especially when I use lead shots in all my paint bottles.
Archaon
I lick my brushes, but I hardly ever paint anyways...
jenova
Actually I have noticed that some paints get really grainy when mixed with my spitt. I wonder if I'm some kinda freak

Sojourner
Also bearing in mind that saliva, being that consistency due to its protein components, will degrade over time...

Whizard Hlavaz
Ah, I wouldn't worry. I know I don't anymore (even when my tongue goes numb). Just think about it -- How many of us ate the twinkies or the ho-hos or the Lil' Debbie Fudge Cremes as kids? (How many of us still do? ) Do you know the C*R*A*P in those things? I doubt a little paint is going to do much more harm. Or a little Flow Improver or a little extender for that matter... At least that's my new spin on things. Call me a fatalist, but we're all going to kick it sometime. And, if I go first, I'll be sure to save a seat for all my fellow brush-lickers. I'm good like that. Besides... That whole sponge thing is such a pain in the @$$ !!!!!!
Dancin'Debby
not to mention the bacteria and germs that build up on wet sponges... but then I guess if you use the sponge you're not licking your brush debby

Digital [email protected]
I believe the DNA transferred from my brush to my figs give them a little extra. Hmmm, I wonder if the FBI could get my DNA off of my minis?????
