complete Base Boss by Reaper

So did anyone else see the preview of a Base Boss Kickstarter by Reaper Miniatures on the homepage? It redirected to a ReaperCon page but it was blank. The preview had an American flag and Bald Eagle for a background.

 

I didn't get a chance to screenshot it as I was trying to find out where it was going and when I went back to it, it was gone.

 

Any info on this or did someone accidentally hit enter on a preview they shouldn't have?

Just a heads up, I went to the PM for Base Boss and made some pre-selections but the site gets stuck when recalculating. I'm using Windows 10 with Chrome, both up to date.

The PM doesn't calculate for me either but there's plenty of time before the launch. I'd love to see some simple flagstone or dungeon floor textured bases. Nothing extravagant. Something similar to the SDE bases but in 1" 2" & 3" sizes. That would make re-basing all of these dungeon crawl board game minis a piece of cake.

Hmm, I'm wondering now if ReaperBryan intentionally released the PM early so that us wacky forumites find weird ways to break the system and he can start working the fixes now instead of the middle of the campaign.

Ha, sounds plausible.

 

Recalculating doesn't work for me either and the console doesn't provide any clues (Opera on Ubuntu 16.04). At some point that link at the top will need to point to the Reaper KS instead of the Secret Weapon one...

 

This is... I'm not sure how I feel about this. It's so useful. So I think it should be nice. I was already thinking I should have gotten one of the BIG orders of bases instead of the little one. But I am going to have a hard time getting excited about new base sizes. Maybe that's okay. Or maybe Reaper peeps have thought of some unexpected places to take this? Either way I'm looking forward to this. Hard to complain about more Reaper kickstarters.
