They may be going on the formula 2x flight bases (16) and 1x flight poles (22), to leave 6 extra.  I broke two flight poles basing my Chieftains, so that's the formula I'm going to go by.

Plus, the flight poles can be used with any slotted base. Technically, if you snip off the tab of the pole you can glue it to non-slotted bases, too. I have models that I have done that for.

I haven't even figured out what I want/need yet.  I just threw a $1 in, and I'll hit the pledge manager up in a week or so when I know my budget better.

Point of note... The $50 and $100 pledge levels list what you get. But it would be nice if they did list the sku of the items. for what it's worth.

Once a backer has chosen a level, creators may not edit the text of that level.

Also, the mention that this entire kickstarter is being made in your factory is in two locations not usually seen by everyone, the video and the risks/challenges. It would make a bigger splash with people if it was in the main campaign description. Maybe with a small paragraph of how you started bringing production of Bones and bases to the US with Thomas.

True, but you could, if you wanted to, edit the image of the pledge level?

Ok I went but seeing the actual number of bases I would get is making me hold off.  I will make a decision at some point and either do $1 and then just grab what I want from PM or if I see X amount of stuff I really want then put that much into KS.  Nearly did the $100 level but yeah 269 bases....I would still have over 200 by the time 2020 came around.
